This really was a gripping knockout as each team forwarded their best efforts to plunder the unmistakable claim to fame of the Zone Junior Fours title. With three high performing skips and brilliant teams each, the winner will have achieved the guts to take out the junior fours title. But the winner was still to be decided, on the Wed, with the usual 'greens' of Lithgow, the teams asserted their dominance early. The first semi's came out trumps for Southern Tablelands scoring the bye, but nepean and central left to do battle. In a catostrophic game full of an arra of shots, Nepeans skip (Trentan Healey, Penrith, Nepean)was dragged over the line by he and his teams efforts for the illusive title, leaving central scrambling for a title in the pairs and singles. The next game would be the
most amazing comeback story. After being washed out on Wed, the nepean team returned to the green on Saturday, behind 4 - 0 after two, bad start, after an emphatic third (first for sat) end, the nepean boys held 6, with Trent Healeys efforts to block. This never swayed young Bradley as he produced a bomb, to recieve one up, yet again it was another strong performance from the up and comer.
Leading  16 - 7, with 5 ends left, times were tough for the Nepean boys, every attempt failed until finnaly a spark was lit. Matt Jeans and Trent Healey held their conversation quietly with every notice to win an end, this suprisingly came throught Trent's 'amazing ability' to produce the finest wiks. Rolling two bowls up still one down, the boyz put their heads down. With four seconds, Trent played with amazing weight to fit through a bowl width gap to take a 4 shot lead. Next end was also amazing as the boyz were inspired catering 5 bowls within 20 cms, leaving it tough for Brad, Trents first bowl was a foot short and in the count, with brad unluckily missing a drive by an inch, Matt Jeans called for a front resting toucher and Trent delivered. Before know Brad cut narrow dropping a 6, to be behind for the first time with three ends to go 17-16. Unfortunately Southern did not encounter another score in defeation 20 - 16. A great end to a great match.
