# 50% discount for Newars:
I saw this in a cybercafe near the chowk of Freak Street (Jhochen) Kathmandu. Being a Newar myself, I couldn't decide how to take this. Or do I even have to decide?

# I am proud to be a Nepali

I have lost my identity as a Nepali. I search for that identity in others, my friends, my peers, my seniors, children and all the people of Nepal. I try to search for my Nepali-ness in TVs and mags. Still, no way can I gather any gram of patriotic pride just because Mt. Everest happens to be here. I have seen for numerous times on TVs and heard on Radios and read on mags how people are proud being a Nepali because this is the land of Gautam Buddha. We are all living on the post-digestion vanity of what the great ones have done in the past. We have been dragging Buddha's name for more than 2500 years - land of Buddha... land of peace... oh yeah !

I don't care however, I am curious if Buddha was a Nepali... better ask India !

# Mero Mayos, Mero Nepal
I can't perceive any good logical explanation for this ad-slogan. Ok take this. Your Mayos and Your Nepal. Does it matter ? My ass and Your Mayos. Does it make a difference ? Or does it ?

"The country is going through a rough road and I think, we Nepali people should walk hand in hand through this difficult situation."

"Education is very important. In my opinion, the children should not be deprived of this oppertunity."

The respected minister pointed out on the fact that all the political parties should be united to face the national crisis.
