The Annapurna sanctuary is an amazing trek into the heart of the Annapurna range in Nepal. Starting at just an elevation of just 1600m and ending at over 4000m the trek can tax even the most fit trekker. the variety of ecological zones and you work your way through the sub-tropical jungles up to the tundra of Annapurna Base camp is fascinating and the views awaiting from inside the sanctuary are unbeatable, highlighted by looking at Annapurna I, the tenth highest mountain in the world 8091m.
