RES Highlights

Resource and Environment Conservation Society (RES) is a not-for-profit making non governmental organization registered with His Majesty's Government of Nepal. We are involved in range of activities related to research, design and implementation of sustainable resource management. RES also provides need based and customized training on Geographic Information Systems, data management, resource inventory and human resource management aiming at sustained resource utilizations and social development. We are entrusted by INBAR to co-ordinate bamboo eco-housing in Nepal for year 2003 - 2005 and in which UNDP/GEF/SGP Nepal has provided financial assistance as a co-funder. We have been entrusted to serve different organizations and agencies over years including King Mahendra Trust for Nature Conservation, Embassy of Australia and Tourism and Rural Poverty Alleviation Programs at national level.
