Ghost Hunting and parapsychology in general tends to gather, in my mind, a lot of really wacky
people. Most "Ghost Hunters" as we are somtimes called are exactly as you would picture......Off the
wall goofy, almost gypsy like.....basically, one french fry short of a happy meal. I am the
photographer and webmaster for NePa_ghosts, and yet I cant actually say that I have seen a ghost (with my
own eyes) I was able to capture SOMTHING that is unexplained. After I took that picture of the "ectoplasm"
I spent the next year trying to debunk my own picture. I looked at radon pockets released form the ground,
I looked at possible fog in the area that night, and I looked at camera malfunction. Well, radon is
an invisible odorless gas, there was no fog and I couldn't see my breath and I wasn't smoking. Also, every
picture before and after that was fogless/Ectoless. All I am saying is, that there are a lot of people in this field
that tend to be overbearing when it comes to skeptics/non-believers. Not me, I am actually not 100% sure that
ghosts exist. I do know that I have felt things, and sensed things. Who knows, my imagination goes wild
every time I'm onsite doing research. Every time feels new, and yes, I get a little nervous sometimes.
When I took that picture of the Ectoplasm, I almost pissed myself when I saw the image in the viewfinder
window. Look, I am a former active duty United States Marine, I am not wacky and I am not a gypsy. Have
fun doing your thing out there and come to your own conclusions. Try and not let your peers and others in
the paranormal community make you sombody that your not.
