Pokemon Trading Card Game 2 Patch v0.02beta (v1.2gamma)
by Neo-Trans Otaku (http://www.geocities.com/neotransotaku)
January 01, 2003

this ain't really much of a readme--but anyways:

here is a new patch for the Pokemon Trading Card Game 2 which now
has (hopefully) all 445 cards translated and without bugs (hopefully). enjoy.

note
====
this patch has nothing to do with the work i have previously done.
95% of the contents (ASM work, opening translation, training battle translation)
of this patch was done by Jazz. So tremendous thanks should go to him...and NOT ME.
I repeat, NOT ME! The only thanks I should get, however, is the one who inserted the
translation of the cards in the game to make them readable.

to summerize in short--this patch has been "ripped" from the patch
made by Jazz at 1 l33t H4x0rz (http://www.funetwork.net/1lh/). Basically,
all i have done is now added card translation and sent his translation project
unofficially to 20% completed (or v1.2gamma--it was at beta i think). It won't be
officially at 20% unless Jazz approves, which I really don't know)

so, if you have any strife about this patch (bugs to report) that has
nothing to do with the cards, talk to him (go to his website to find out
contact info). Otherwise, talk to me.

instructions
============
use the patch on the ORIGINAL ROM! i repeat, use the patch on the ORIGINAL ROM!

don't have the ROM, go download it from my site (http://www.geocities.com/neotransotaku)
it will be there as long as geocities does not complain. Once it starts to complain,
i will have no choice but to get rid of it or else forfeit the site (which i really
don't want to do)

special thanks
==============
tremendous thanks to Jazz (1 l33t h4x0rz - http://www.funetwork.net/1lh/) for
doing the ASM work that allows this game to be more playable (and translatable)

tremendous thanks to Alamedyang for translating the cards during his own time
and releasing his work ot the public

one last message
================
95% of the work found in this patch was NOT done by me...just to make sure I get that
point across.

I do not intend in using this patch as part of my own project. However, if I manage to
make progress in this game (i.e. translate more of it), proper credit will STILL be
given to the work that I did not do as I have done here. I am not the type of person
who steals other peoples work and call it my own.
