Review
Cool... Zidaine...monkey tails...weird...? Well anyway, this game is really awesome. You have eight playable charecters. Zidane, Garnet (a.k.a. Dagger), Vivi, Steiner, Amarant, Eiko, Freya, and Quina. Thats a lot for you to keep track of... but there is an upside... instead of the normal only fighting with three characters you have four out at one time! YAY!! This is so cool having one extra guy! Well, anyway as I was saying is that this game is awesome with renewed graphics and a cool slick battle system which I LOVE as you can see. Well lets get to the graphics, they have much improved character models since FFVII and FFVIII. You can actually see the details on the characters like Zidane belt and Vivis buttons on his clothes. That is much better than just a blur as in FFVII character models. Also, this game has gorgeous FMV scenes...*soob* just BEA-utiful. Now, to the Battle System. For starters you have four characters in a battle sequence at a time. Just like all other Final Fantasy games there is the what I call the "Battle Box" which is where you controll your attacks, spell casting and your "Trance moves". "Trance" is a ability were for a short amount of time you have your attack power doubled in strengh! HOLY CRAP! Now to my favorite part... *dramatic pause* THE STORYLINE! Well you are a monkey dude named Zidane who is a Entertainer/Theif who is going to entertain the queen. Hence the job "Entertainer". When you get to your destination, (Queen Brhaines castle), you act in a play, do sword fights e.t.c. to entertain her. (Do I use the word entertain a lot in this review latley or is it just me)? The story kicks on and you meet new people and do many crazy and weird things. But what is the newest thing to me is the "Card Battleing" game. In the game, you gather cards and can challange any one to a game, but, it's not poker... it's a battle card game like the dreded POKEMON! Just these monsters arn't cute... there creatures and Places like this castle "Alexandria". (Do you get the vibe Yu-Gi-OH! to)? Well it is actually very cool and fun and can be frustraiting and challanging at the same time. This concludes my review and now to the begining of the story.
