| First of all, this game is awesome. This game came with a lot more features than previous Final Fantasy games. Like an improvements in magic management and graphics wise. The graphics have much improved since Final Fantasy VII and earlier games. The game supports 3-D graphics and are beautiful for its time in 1999. They are clearer than FFVII and are brighter so you can see paths clearer. The FMV scenes on the game are extraordinary compared to regular games of its time. They are beatufuly crafted and I guess that Square worked hard on them...for a long time. Now to the magic, the magic consists of these things called "Draw Points" instead of MP. Since you don't use MP you stock up on items to make the magic but they can only be casted with summons. You have to level up your summons like a charecter for abilitys like magic. Now to the main part of the game...(pause for dramatic affect) the WEAPONS! You have six charecters that are playable in the game and have a range of three to six except the main charecter SQUALL! He has eight weapons that are a new edition to the series the "Gun Blade". The "Gun Blade" is a revolver at the handel of the sword and a regular blade of a sword. You can not really fire the "Gun Blade" but you can hit a button and it shots them while you hit them which causes extra damage. Now to the Limit Breaks for the six charecters. For the main charecter Squall he has the "Renozuken" limit break which is very powerful like Clouds Omnislash attack. And Rinoa's limit break "Combine" makes her dog Angelo attack enemys and does heavy damage. And Quiztis limit break "Blue Magic" where you can do a range of different magic like "Laser Eye" to "Power Generator". The Charecters have a lot more limit breaks and attacks but there are to many. So that is all I can share. But also the story line is amazing. It was one of the few things that got me through the game fully. It has a amazing range of twist and turns to it and left me breathless. A definate must have for anyone. | |||||||||||||||||

| The game starts with an intro of two guys sparing in the battle grounds of the academy their both going to. Squall is sparing his rival Seifer and they both get carried away and and Seifer cuts Squalls in between the eyes and Squall gets up and does the same work of art to Seifers face as he did to him. Then the intro ends and Squall wakes up in an infirmary with a bandaged head. His school teacher Quistis walks in and is quite disipointed that her two students got carried away. But Squall gets up and goes with his teacher and gets to class she says that a field exam is going on later but Squall must challange a GF to take the test. So he meets Quistis at the main gate and there off to fire cave. He beats Ifrit and goes to take the test. He has to go to a boat and go to a town and drive a army out of the town. They beat the army and Seifer orders Squall up a Com. tower and Seifer leaves. Selphie a messenger, accompanies Squall and Zell in the tower and are attacked by a large monster. They kill it and then they read the message and have to go to the beach. But one of the commanders of the army sends a giant metal spider after them and it chases them to the beach. But Quistis has a giant chain gun and pumps that spider full of lead! They go back to the school and check their score... every one made it except for Seifer. Then later Squall and everyone else who made it go to a reception in their honor. He just leans back siping alchol and sees a lonley girl on the dance floor...alone. She asked him to dance and lets just say he has two left feet. but he gets the hang of it and acctually gets good. Then the song ends and fireworks go off. She leaves and just thinks who is she? But later that nigh he is up on a balcony alone and Quistis has something to tell him in the training grounds. She is resining from teaching and is becoming just a student like squall. Sorta? But then suddenly thay are attacked by two monsters but kill them quickly. Then Squall gos to bed in his dorm room. nighty night. But from here on the team adds more members and goes on crazy adventures through time and space. And Squall falls in love and let me just tell yah it gets better and better. But i'll leave the rest up to you to find out. You really should. This section was wrote by Game Freak because he owns it and beat it. Not me. But I wrote this with his review!
