My Favorite Sailor Senshi ~ Setsuna Meioh aka Sailor Pluto
Why I picked Setsuna as my favorite senshi, I really don't know. There was just something about her that I became intrigued by and I learned more about her, and I grew to love her the best. Setsuna Meioh aka Sailor Pluto is the oldest and wisest of the Sailor Senshi. Her exact age is unknown, but we know that she has been around since the time of the Silver Millenium. Her destiny was to guard the gates of time and to be lonely. Even though she sometimes disliked her destiny, she new it was set. She never really found true love (only requitted love because her destiny always got in the way) or was able to get out into the world and help the senshi fight much because she had to stand guard at the gates of time. Setsuna was believed to be Princess Pluto (princess of the planet Pluto of the Silver Millenium) and have a young adult's appearance because of the time flow at the time gates (despite her old age). Like most Pluto websites on the web, most have mentioned that when she DID help fight with the other senshi and warn them of the deadly silence she was almost ALWAYS put in the background of things. Why did they forget and ignore her most of the time? I feel as if they did that to show the true nature of her character and her personality, that she is supposed to be lonely and doesn't really get involved in things (stays in her own business unless it means evil domination of the Moon Kingdom).
