Winamp is the best audio player ever made, and it is very versatile and customizable. You can download a large variety of visualisation plugins and interface skins for it. A viz is something such as a waveform that moves to the beat of the music, and a skin is something that changes the way the player itself looks by using different bitmaps for the different sections of the display.
