Minako has the most open and fun loving personality. She can be friendly to everyone. She will show genuine concern and well being of everyone else, especially Usagi. She is always having a good time and loves to talk. She is very social too. Minako just loves reciting proverbs, although she always gets them all mixed up, making Artemis have to correct her. She is rarely seen not smiling and she's always cheerful. Minako always seems like she is so carefree and has no serious side. But Minako is very serious though, just because of a past she wants to forget she seems to act all carefree. Inside she seems to have a lot of sorrows and is growing up way too fast.

When Mina lived in England, she found out she was Sailor V. The only other person who knew this was her best friend Katrina. Both she and Katrina loved the same boy Alan, who was interested in Katrina. However, since Katrina was a good friend, she did not go out with him, as long as Mina liked him. One day a building collapsed with Sailor V trapped inside. All that Katrina found of her friend was the ribbon that she once wore in her hair. Now Sailor V was gone forever. She moved to Tokyo where she became the fifth Sailor Senshi, Sailor Venus. The rest of the Senshi thought that she was the moon princess because of the cresent moon that she bore on her forehead. She has her own guardian, a white cat named Artemis. She has he rown guardian because she was the leader of the Sailor Senshi in the Silver Millenium, when there was no Sailor Moon, only the Moon Princess. As the series progressed, she became less serious and more bubbly, like Usagi.
