   Mizuno Ami is best recognised as a "nerd", coming from a very exclusive school before entered the same school as Usagi. She is often found in the computer room, happily typing up an essay or simply trying best to expand her mind. She is always at least ten chapters ahead of the class, and attends extra computer classes after school. However, because of her exceptional skills at computer, she finds herself to be one of the best players at video games. Even though she has never played them before, she can still beat any of the "consistent" players. She is also a master at Chess, having entered competitions and always-winning first place. Everyone sees her as the best player, though she often begs to differ.

   However, under all the books, computers and chess boards lies a very quiet, kind and conscientious young girl. She always tries her best to think before acting, and along with that, thinking for others as well. Her emotions are something she tries her best to control in dangerous situations. She cares for almost anyone at any one time.

   She has a huge love for cats, which would explain the close relationship she and Luna share. Luna is often found always sitting on Ami's shoulder and conversing with her. Out of everyone else, Ami is usually the only one who can hold up a serious conversation without bursting out into tears of laughter.

    Ami's ultimate goal in life is to be happy, please her friends and family. Another one of her dreams is to become a doctor, like her mother. A doctor could possibly be seen as the best job for Ami, since she does have such a caring nature. Her favourite subject is maths, which is also another important subject for people who are trying to become a doctor. She would make the perfect doctor.

    One of Ami's weakest points are boys. She becomes very shy around them and can't seem to act like herself when surround by them. Part of the reason for this extremely shyiness is probably due to the absence of her father. Her father is a painter and can't live with Ami since he travels the world trying to sell his art works. Since he is not there, she is unable to obtain advice about boys and there for, fears them. In a way ^^

    Overall, beside being a first classed nerd, Ami is a very special girl. She is extremely talented in everything she does and is very sweet and kind to though around her. She has full control on all aspects of her life. And when she puts her mind to something, she can accomplish it with class, and without anyone interfering.
