The battledome's a lot of fun, right? When you win that is. So you haven't got many neopoints to buy items but you've still got some good ones. So why do you always lose?

Well here's the reason. Loads of people have tons of NP - but really that shouldn't mean a thing. But they've got the money to buy things like staffs of the earth faerie, wands of nova and so on - hey a few people can even afford an eraser of the dark faerie! So basicly one or two hits and your poor neopet's health points are down to zero. No matter how many times you get the water faerie at the healing springs to gve you more health you still can't seem to beat them.

Now I know you're going to think 'Oh no, I don't think I'll ever win a battle!' but don't give up. If you keep on playing games (I know some are hard but you will get the hang of them) and doing things like the tombola you'll get there eventually!

Here are some handy places to go:

• The Tombola in Mystery Island. You can sometimes win faeries there but it's a game of pure luck and chance!
• Coltzan's Shrine in The Lost Desert. He will sometimes make your pet stronger, faster, have more defece or even raise it's level!
• Weapon shops!!!!! There are some in Neopia and The Tyrannian Plateau if you fancy splashing out on some good weapons.
• The garage sale in Terror Mountain at the top. Every so often they have a weapon or something going cheap!

Oh and if you ever find you've had the feeling that you needed to buy a faerie or you've found one on the floor, go straight to your items. Click on your faerie and choose from the drop down list 'Bless (your pet's name)' then your chosen pet will be given an ability for the battledome!

If your pet has a petpet that will also help in the battledome too!
