Since I joined neopets (2 days ago at the writing of this article) I got the impression that this website is probably the best one I've ever come across. Neopets.com can be used by anybody that has a computer anywhere around the globe (earth not neopia). It's a great place to go when you need to relax. Spend some time getting points to by your pet's food join guilds and all the other brilliant things that make this website what it is. The bomb.

But when I became a member I thought that it would be great to have someone showing you the ropes. Neopia is great but if you�re new it�s a challenge to get around without the help of kind fellow-owners. That�s why I thought the website could set a mentor list. Kind neopians could add there names to a list and when a new member joins they can become a trainee of a mentor, if there overwhelmed by the sheer variety of the neopian world they can have a helping hand showing them through there first month as a pet-owner. You'd be surprised how much help it is to newbies to have someone to talk to about general things in neopia. To keep the mentors lively and active with their trainee an amount of neopoints could be giving each week or day. Then at the end of the month of training the trainee, the mentor could receive an award and the trainee could vote on how good their mentor was.

I think that doing this would not only benefit two people (the mentor and the trainee), but the community of neopia as a whole. Newbies would be livelier, thus making guilds more popular and so would shops. If you think this is a good idea, neomail me and we'll start a petition that the neopet people would listen to. I would welcome Opinions from anybody who has one!
