The Runaway Puppyblew

Just a little while back,
My gelert opened the door,
And out ran her puppyblew
Who was longing something more.

The puppyblew ran,
Right outside.
Not even looking back.
Just a little common sense,
Was what this petpet lacked!

The puppyblew ran,
Far too fast.
Me missed him for an hour.
Then my gelert went to search for him,
The neighborhood she scoured.

She called his name,
But felt much pain,
When he failed to heed the call.
the she began to get real angry!
Cause the puppyblew, didn't care at all!

Finally, she just gave up.
She threw her paws in the air.
The puppyblew was still missing,
and she began to feel despair.

A little while later,
We heard scratching at the gate.
The puppyblew had returned!
(Though he was a little late!)

About five minutes later,
there was knocking at the door.
A skeith stood on the welcome mat,
and he looked rather sour.

"Your puppyblew," He said, starting out,
"Was barking in my lane!
And then he bared his fearsome fangs,
Which would have caused me pain!"

Then the skeith
lowered his voice,
and darkened his pitiless eyes.

"And if I ever see him there again,
I'll EAT him! That's no lie!"

So now we have to be extra careful,
to keep that front door shut!
For if our puppyblew, gets out again,
His life span could be cut!
