Round Table Poker
This game guide basically describes all of the fundamentals of Round Table Poker.
Betting:

Here are tips on betting in round table poker.

First Round Betting

1)If you have  all of your cards below 10, no pairs and you don't have 4 cards of the same suit, I would recommend checking and if the opponents decide to bet, you should fold.
2)If you have 1 card that is higher than 10 and no pairs and your cards are not 4 of the same suit, you should check and if your opponents bet match their bet.  If they decide to raise I would recommend folding if it is a large raise.
3)If you have 2 low cards(less than 10) on the first turnthat are the same, bet but do not try to raise.  If your opponent raises though you should call their bet.  This also applies to 4 cards of the same suit.
4)If you have two cards of the same number that are higher than 10, bet and accept all raises.
5)If you have  two cards of the same set and another high card or 2 pairs of any type on the first turn, raise your opponents as much as possible.

Second Round:

1)Any 1 card fold.
2)Pair less than 10: try to check and then fold.
3)Pair greater than 10: fold if opponents raise.  If you have 2 aces, you should accept one raise and then fold.
4)Two pairs less than 10: Accept all raises, but do not raise.
5)One pair greater than 10 and one pair less than 10 or a better hand: Raise as much as possible

Hands to try for:

1)If you have 1 high card, discard all 4.
2)If you have 2 different high cards, discard the 3 lower cards.
3)If you have 1 pair, discard 3 cards unless you have another card higher than 10, in which you should keep your highest unpaired card and discard 2 cards.
4)If you have 4 cards of the same suit, discard the one that isn't if you do not have 2 pairs.  If you do have two pairs, discard the unpaired card.
5)Never try for a straight!
6)If you have 2 pairs, keep them and discard the other card.
Opponent Characteristics:

The first few opponents are easy until you get to round 3 and face Kalandra.

Kalandra:Will fold early if she has a good hand.  However, if she has a good hand, sh will raise as much as possible.
Chortle:Chortle likes to bluff.
Commander Lazarr:He likes to fold early if his hand is poor.
Nigel of Meridar II:He will fold if he has a bad hand and bet if he has a really good hand.  Doesn't raise as much as some opponents, but will frequently call bets.
