Hey all. Well, I added a newer, spiffier layout to Phaen-Net. Also, I added the Garbage section to the music page, and I'm currently working on a bunch of other stuff, including the Tool portion and a Concept album interpretation section.

I got a CD by Crash Test Dummies called "Give Yourself a Hand" which is much better than I thought it would be. Sort of blues-rockish. NEway, I have to go now. I'm going to go watch a Jackie Chan movie. (Operation Condor 2)

Hello again. I've been doing a lot of work. First, I updated the Phaen-Net main page, weeding out all the pages I never update and giving it a spiffy new look. Go check it out. I've been working on a new version of the SP page (offline of course) and it's progressing nicely. Plus thier new CD "MACHINA/the machines of God" is due out in bout 44 days. I'm also gonna get PM5K's 'Tonight the Stars Revolt" and STP's "No. 4" later this week. Also, I added the "Evolution" section to Colemanworld 2, which I made quite a while back, but forgot to connect. I'm also working on a section where you'll be able to access Coleman's Disco.

On unrelated topics, I'm slowly learning to play guitar. I picked up the intro to Nirvana's "Come As You Are" and I can't stop playing it. (Listen to me playing on my crappy acoustic) Perhaps one day I'll be ina band. (Sure...)

I've also ordered 15 cds from a music club, including cuts by John Lennon, Alice in Chains, Blondie, 3EB, Green Day, Matchbox 20 and Jewel. I got a keyboard for chirstmas, plus some Sonic Youh, an SP shirt, and Grandia for PSX (which is an AWESOME game), so you may see a page on that too sometime. I also have an HTML tutorial page on the drawing board. Soon. NEway, I gots to go, the Simpsons will be on soon. Later Y'all.

Hey all. It's the Christmas season! 12.5 more instructional days of school, food, decorations, cheesy Christmas specials on TV, the works. I love this time of year, and so does Coleman, so I'm working on his site. (See Phaen-Net). I'm also updating the music page, but that's going pretty slow. I still plan to try to get the cinema guide to this page too, but I don't know if I can.

In other news, I got some beasty new CDs. First, Korn's latest, "Issues," which is sooo much better than "Follow the Leader." Also I got Tool's "�nima," which is even better than that! Finally, I bought Beck's "Bellow Gold," which is also wicked awesome. I want to get Tool's "Undertow" and "Opiate," Beck's "Odelay" and like, 140 other CDs, but I don't think I can.

I must beg forgiveness for the tardiness of this update, but I've been VERY VERY busy recently. First, my friends and I are forming a Simpons Fan Club called "The Stonecutters." I'm also working on a very comprehensive Simpsons webpage that will double as the Stonecutters official site, but I have decided to get it as complete as I can b4 I put it on the net, that way I won't have to worry about updating it so much. I also have a miscellaneous site called Lost Stream of Consciousness going thru the same process, so I've been working on those.

Next on the chopping block, I got locked out of the old Colemanworld Site for lack of updates, but I got a really good idea to revamp it, which I hope to do this weekend. I've already started, so go there and check it out.

I have plans in the works to update this Lunar site with the cinema reference and a few other goodies, plus work more on the FF8 and Xenogears sites. If I have the time, I plan to transform my ghetto SM page into a general anime page, especially since I'm getting more and more anime info from watching it on Sci-Fi channel and the guys in Japanese Class.

That's about it in site news. So what else has been happening? Hmm. I got some new CDs, among them NIN's "Pretty Hate Machine" and "The Downward Spiral" which are very diffrent from both each other and "The Fragile," but are awesome. I also got Marilyn Manson's "Mechanical Animals" which is actually more of a pop-record then a heavy metal one. In fact, he/they rip off David Bowie in several places, but it's still a great CD and not all evil like thier earlier work.

10th grade is going good. My best class ever is Japanese, I'm not doin' so bad at English either. God help me, grammar is actually interesting! Not to mention that Stonecutters club that we're forming. I don't get to see Pam much, but hey, I see her in the hall.

By the way, there are several referrences to Pam on this page, but I don't think I've explained any of them. She's the girl that I've liked for (Approximately) 6 years, 11 days, and about 9 hours, give or take a week.

I've also rented Crash Team Racing for the PSX, which is basically just like N64's Mario Kart, except some of the tracks are much more fun, and the main mode of gameplay is better. So, I think I'm going to go play that, but I give U my word, I will try to post these updates more often.

Ok everyone, I'm very, very sorry that I have not updated any of my sites in over a month. There is, however, a very good reason. My computer broke. Actually, first the battery burned out or something, so while we were replacing that, we forgot to use a ground wire and we electrified the motherboard, which basically screwed that up and we had to get a new one. However, we determined that it would, in fact, be easier just to get a new computer, and so we did, and we just got the thing hooked up today. I have a lot of crap to fix, like downloading a jillion programs that we saved off the other one, re-installing all the favorites files, etc. so I can't say how much work I will be able to do on the sites for the next couple of days.

So, what's been going on in the last month? Well, I got FF8, I'm on disc 3 and lemme tell you: it is frickin awesome! You can rent cars, float around in space, and the opening movie is....well, you have to see it. I also got Jade Cocoon (On the same day, 9-9-99), but because of FF8 and other things, I haven't played that much. Still, it looks like a cool game.

In music news, I did buy three new CDs. First was Sugar Ray's 14:59, which is a diverse album, and not bad. Second, I got Orgy's debut CD entitled Candyass. This is a pretty techno hard rock CD, and it's not for all tastes, but it's pretty cool as well. However, the best CD I've gotten recently is Nine Inch Nails' new double-disc The Fragile. I got it last thursday, and it's one of my favorite CDs.

Also, school has started, so I won't be able to do much updating during the day, except on weekends.

Anyway, that's really about it at the moment. I'm still figuring out what all the buttons do on this new comp, but I know I have a DVD capable CD drive, so I'm happy. I might also be getting a Cd writer sometime in the near future. So, check y'all out later.

Well, I finally got off my lazy behind and put up the Characters section. You can find it filed under Burg on the main page. I also corrected a couple of typos I found. (Not many, just a couple) If you want some info on getting the bromides, check the Guestbook for some info, courtesy of Treefrog.

Well, including today, there are only 20 days until my birthday and 19 'till the release of FF8 and the Dreamcast. Means I should probably get to work on that FF8 page that's lying stagnant at Geocities, huh? Well, maybe I will tomorrow. Of course I also have to update my Xenogears page with some Item and skill lists, I have to finish part 3 of my FF7 walkthru and post that up on the Gold Saucer, I have to lyricize the album "Pisces Iscariot" for The Sonic Refrigerator (My music page) and transfer the lyrics from that album as well as two others to my Smashing Pumpkins page, while adding more song info and such. I have to update Ender's site (the one I'm helping him with) while he's working on the walkthru for FF6 and I should probably get the L:SSSC strategy guide to do more for this page. Ahh, the life of a webpage owner.

But now, it's Sunday night, my mom wnats to get on the comp, and I have an earache, so I'm going to go lie down and watch some TV.

Hey everyone. WEll it's only 33 days until my birthday, and 32 days until FFVIII lands in the US, and I buy it the day it comes out. An intersting thing, Square's releasing it on 9/9/99 because the date is all 9s, but they released FFVII on 9/7/97, so this isn't the first time such a significance has been implemented. NEway, I'm finally finished updating the Gold Saucer, my FF7 site and what a task that was! But now I have more time to update this and my dilapidated FF8 page. Well, since it's now 12:12 Am, I should go to bed, so I shall leave you once again with the wisdom of Homer Simpson, this time from when he was trying to sabotage the Plow King's (Barney) business.

HOMER: (In funny voice) "Hello, Plow King? I need you to plow my driveway on top of forbidding Widow's Peak."

BARNEY: "I dunno. Isn't that dangerous?"

I am back home!! Woohooo! So now that I have returned form my trip to Oregon, I will be able to do more updating, and hopefully get that characters section up in a week or two. (Hopefully) News on Lunar2! Apparently the game will feature the same deluxe packaging that L:SSS did. This will make the game a grand totla of 5CDs (Three game CDs plus the two extras). For a couple of screenshots, you can check out the small feature on page 109 of GamePro's Aug. '99 Issue (No. 131) In other news I got my SNES hooked up, and plan to spend most of the day tomorrow playing Zelda. I also entered to win Chrono Trigger from Funco Land ($60 value, a lot considering I paid about $20 for the system itself) so wish me luck. Oh yes, and there are only 39 days, 23 hours and now, 25 minutes (It's 1:35 by now) untill the releases of FF8 and the Dreamcast and 40 days 23 hours and 24 minutes (1:36) until my birthday. Heh heh heh. Anyway it's alte and I gotta go to bed. Cya around Y'all.

Well, since I'm still in Oregan I haven't doen much updating on the site. Basically this update is just to let everyone know I'm still here, I wasn't killed in a car wreck or what have you. I am working on a layout for the upcoming character section though. So, I'm here, and hopefully there will be something new here soon as well. Oh, by the way, I saw "Akira". It toatally kicked!!!!!

Has anyone been wondering why I haven't updated in about 2 weeks? Here's a hint: I've been 3000 miles from my computer for a good portion of that time! Yep, I am in the great ol' state of Oregon, home of The Simpsons (well, sort of), a heckuva lotta rain, and one of the coolest gamestores I have ever been in. Specifically I'm visiting family (Knight9999) just outside of Portland. Lets see, news..... news....ok, well First of all, I saw "Vampire Hunter D" on Saturday. It was good, but not great. I'm going to watch "Akira" later today. Second, here there is a Hollywood Video, with a kind of a little side thing devoted to buying, selling and trading video games, for cheap too. For example, if you look way,way down on my list of updates, you'll see that on 5/8/99 I wanted to get the SNES system and 4 games for it. Well, because of this awesome store, that plan has come to fruition. I bought the system, an extra controller and the game "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" all for only $41. Plus the three guys that run it are very nice, and since we go there almost every day we've gotten free shirts, about 6 or 7 free movie rentals and two free Sega Dreamcast boxes, as well as getting to try out this new system before it lands in the US. Think of this: Gameplay graphics are as good as CG rendered FMVs on the Playstation. Mamma Mia!! Anyway, if thou art interested it lands in the US 9/9/99, but it's best to reserve it, NOW! In other gaming news, FF8 comes out the same day, which just happens to be the day before my birthday, so I am most happy about that. The home of the Simpsons you ask? Well, from what I've been told, creator Matt Groening (I KNOW I didn't spell that right), got his inspiration from places around here in the Portland area. For example there are supposed to be streets named Terwilliger (Sideshow Bob's last name), Kearny (Jimbo's bald companion), and Chalmers (Skinner's boss) among others, plus the Trojan Nuclear plant (I believe that was the name of it) is heard to be the inspiration for Springfield's version. I plan to journey to that part of the city and see for myself. In the site news there is basically none, because I haven't been able to be on the computer much recently. In LUNAR news, as of 6/28, LUNAR SSSC was ranked on top of Sony's top ten listing of games, yet number 2 in the RPG catergory. As always you can check the newsroom at Working Designs' site. Still no new news about LUNAR2, but it's still scheduled for release "Winter '99". On a good side for WD, I may decide to purchase one of thier other games. I've been looking at "Alundra" and it looks interesting, but it's still behind "Star Ocean", "Final Fantasy VIII" and "Chrono Trigger" on my 'to buy' list. Incedentally, don't bother with GamePro's review of LSSSC. The reviewer tore it to pieces on false information. Number one he called Nall a girl, number two he anguished over the crappy graphics (which are not that bad), and thirdly, he complained about LUNAR Eternal Blue not being included in the set. THAT'S BECAUSE IT'S A SEPERATE GAME, MORON!!!" So if you want a good comprehensive review, I suggest you look elsewhere. One last info tidbit. Try this:

Stick in the "Making of Lunar" video cd. Press a certian combo of buttons. I THINK it was Up, Down, Left, Right, Triangle, and Start but I'm not 100% positive, then you can play the strategy game Lords of LUNAR, which is like a wierd version of Pong. Also, if at the menu screen, you open the PSX, remove the video CD and put in one of the game CDs, then press "Exit" on the menu you can see all the FMVs on that disc in rapid sucession, but I don't know about that yet. I'll have to try it later.

Considering it's nearly noon by now (I'm not a particularly fast typist), I should go and eat breakfast, or lunch, or whatever. I keep thinking of the Independence Day fireworks last night, and a quote from the Simpsons (of course).

Oi Vay, has this been one heckuva week or what?! Well, I decided I don't have to kill Phillips after all, I went to play at Graduation (Final Exam for band was showing up) after it had been raining for 8 hours, so the whole thing was knee deep in mud. Luckily that was the last school experience for a while. I also got 2 music albums. First (and I know this is a tangent, but I feel like writing it anyway so Nyaah!) is Sonic Youth's "A Thousand Leaves", which is pretty cool, especially "Sunday" and "Hoarfrost". Then, yesterday I went to Best Buy with the intention of buying "Star Ocean", a cool RPG, but instead walked out with "The Aeroplane Flies High", a 5 CD set by The Smashing Pumpkins featuring 33 songs. The reason I bought it is because, #1 there was only one copy left and last time I was there there were about five, and #2, it was $3 cheaper. I highly reccomend it if you like SP music. In any case, that's basically the reason I haven't been on in a while, I've been busy! But I have nothing to do today so I refined the main page a little. Then I made sure that all "Home" Links go to the main page, not the index page anymore. After that, I added about 47 quotes to the Quotes section (In Reza). After that monolithinc task, I whipped up a nice HTML brew called Packaging Guide, and threw it in under TALON. So, that's all I'm gonna do today, cause I'm tired and I have lotsa music to listen to.

MUST KILL PHILLIPS, MUST KILL PHILLIPS. Long story. Anyway, it's only been a week, but I already beat Lunar. It's not that long a game. I have begun a kind of re-vamping of the page, but since it's late, I'm tired, I took an english exam this morning, and a History one tomorrow is coming up, I should probably sleep now. Know however, that I will be adding more depth to the "Wish on Laralla the White Dragon" theme, and add Character pages, Packaging gude, Magic listings, etc. As I mentioned, I'm tired, so I'm gonna sleep now. Hmm...must....kill.....Phillips... .Zzz pound....baritone ....over....head... zzz how....dare.. ... ask...Pam..... weight....sonuvabit*ch.....yawn...zzzz

I am most happy. Earlier today a UPS delivery man came to my house. He took one look at the overgrown rosebushes at the front door then came to the side door. My mother signed for the package, I opened it and inside was LUNAR: Silver Star Story Complete. I proceeded to take a few deep breaths, then I went downstairs and put the video CD in the PSX. The video was pretty cool and showed interviews with Victor Ireland, John Truitt and others. Then I put the music CD in the CD player and listened to it while pouring over the map and handbook. The handbook has 120 pages and features artwork. The game itself is awesome!!! I am in Meribia at the moment. THe game has very solid controls, the battles are cool looking, it supporst both analog and dual-shock, a second controller can be hooked up for joint control of Alex and his friends. Forgive me for shutting up now, but a friend scared the crap out of me by suddenly appearing and I wnat to play LUNAR.

Well, it's been a few days since LUNAR SSS's release date and I don't have it yet, so I'm getting ansy. I keep a patient vigil by my mailbox in the hope that it will come by the end of this week. If it does, then I'm set, I mean what could be better than not only having LUNAR, but having a good friend make his annual visit on Sunday? I mean all I have to do is get the perfect girl (whom I happen to know) to go out with me and ::BAM:: my life is complete! But I digress (again). As far as the site has gone, I removed that annoying Javascript because it screwed over my IE5 browser. Second, I uploaded a total of 5 pics of Jessica and Mia, located on the pics page. I also uploaded a bunch of pics from L:TSS and L:EB, but I'm to lazy to put them on the pics page right away. For now you can see them on the "Lunar Series" page, which is the third new addition. It features a bit about TSS, EB, SSS and EBR (L2:EB). Now, since it's late and I have a rather important English report due 6th period tomorrow that I should probably start, I leave you with the words of the great sage Homer (Simpson) in referrence to LUNAR's impending arrival :

IT HAS BEGUN!!!!!! The following is an excerpt from WD's homepage from Friday:

"Pre-buys of LUNAR: Silver Star Story COMPLETE that were made directly from Working Designs were shipped out on Wednesday, May 26, 1999 via FedEx 2-day delivery (unless requested otherwise). Those who ordered from us directly should have their copies of LUNAR by today, Friday, May 28, 1999."

DAGNABBIT!!!!! I knew I should have ordered it directly. Well, hindsight. Was $20 bucks worth a few more days? I hope so. At least I can now say that LUNAR HAS BEEN RELEASED!!! But...(But?!) don't run out to the mall yet. More from that same article:

"LUNAR: Silver Star Story COMPLETE is expected to ship to major retail chains like Electronics Boutique, Software Etc., and Babbages on Tuesday, June 1, 1999. This means that LUNAR should begin arriving in those stores on Wednesday, June 2, 1999 or Thursday, June 3, 1999. LUNAR should begin arriving in all other retail chains that carry PlayStation games towards the later half of next week."

So anyone who didn't pre-order it from WD will, like me, have to wait a few days. Gamecave (where I ordered it from) says they have it now, so it will not be long. WD also offered this nice little apology:

"We sincerely apologize for this final unexpected delay, and we thank you for your continued patience in waiting for this game. Once you finally get your hands on the game and get to see the deluxe packaging and then finally get to play it, we're sure that you'll feel that it was well worth the wait. :)"

Awwwwwww. I hope so. One word of caution about the final release. BE SURE TO KEEP ALEX'S OCARINA IN HIS INVENTORY WHILE PLAYING THE DEMO OR THE SAVE FROM THE DEMO WILL SCREW UP THE GAME! Well, since I have to wait I believe I will make one last quote: "Suffocate from lack of stimulation, Television time." The 1st line of Eve6's "Small Town Trap" (Their Self Titled CD kicks, go buy it!). I did just buy the Godfather trilogy.........

Ok, I don't know what you heard, but I heard a rumor that Lunar was pushed back to June 6 for manufacturing problems. Well, I contacted WD via E-mail and there's no need to have an aneurysm. (Word of the day). Lunar will be shipped later this week as planned. How do these things get started??

"Someone calls the Star and offers to make up a story for 100 silver. Happens all the time, you should get used to it."

Well, ask a stupid question..... Anyway, I uploaded a Lunar EB pic, a cool poster like thing, added a link to a neat site, and through the courtesy of "Skewer", was able to label some of the midis on the midi page. To quote Romeo "Ahh me, sad hours seem long" ("Romeo and Juliet" Act I, Scene 2 I think) and every hour without Lunar is very sad indeed. Sigh......

Well, well, well. Working Designs has, in classic style, succedeed in pissing everyone off again. The release date for Lunar has been set at 5/28. Gamecave's site was inaccurate (they have fixed it now) and they managed to melt my apathy!! Now I'm furious at the delay!! Why the delay? Who knows!! One theory I heard said it was becuase they did not want to try to compete with the immense hype surrounding "Star Wars: Episode 1 -The Phantom Menace". And hype there is. People I know went out to a packed theater at 3 AM!! Heck, at 3 Am I was dreaming about benign vampires. Anyway, as if it could compensate for the mental trauma they are putting us through, WD has officially declared that Lunar EB will be released on PSX this winter. And of course we all know that means next summer, if not later. (You can tell I'm pissed). NEway, I found a cool javascript place and downloaded and installed two applets. #1-That little update thingy on the index page and #2-A Random Quote generator. THe Java Boutique is the name of the place. Another week without LUNAR!!! I'm going crazy!!! For the love of god WD, NO MORE DELAYS!!! I was just saying earlier to an OL Friend of mine, that if WD doesn't release Lunar soon, I'll go over there and give 'em all a beat down!! Well, maybe not actually, but mentally. "Take that you sonuvabi**h!! Delay my f***ing game will ya!! Take this you dumb a**!! Gimme Lunar ya ugly bas***d!!" etc....... God I'm pissed!! Come on, find the happy place, deep healing breath, count to ten 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10. Ok, I've calmed down. I think I'll go play Xenogears before I become riled again.

Ahh, what the heck, when it comes it comes.

I posted a message on a certian messageboard about Lunar, those were the names and the basic gists of the responses I got. I hav reached the PBJ stage. Although I do want this game more than I can remember wanting any video game except the original Sonic the Hedgehog for my Sega Genesis (::Sigh:: Am I that old already?) all those years ago, I figure I have it ordered, I'm guarunteed a copy barring my sudden unexpected death from accidentally swallowing a pen cap I was nervously chewing during my history test tomorrow. SO, i'll just kick my feet back, build a few monochrome Magic decks, watch some Dragon Ball Z and wait. For those of you who are not as patient as I am, the game should be released sometime this week, maybe next. Gamecave says they already have it. If they do, fantabulous. If not, the will soon. And so will I. There I've said my 2 cents.. Now about that history test.....wait a minute TOMORROW!!!!! Oh CRAP!!!! ::Computer abruptly shuts off::

TOMORROW!!! That's right. The target release date for Lunar SSS is May 16th. Tomorrow. We will see if Working Designs will redeem themselves in our eyes, or just get us more pissed off at them. Anyway, on the advice of Rune Lai, owner and operator of Shrine to Ghaleon, I have once again reformatted the picture page. Instead of just 1 page with tables and text links to the images, there are now 6 interlinked pages, and in addition to the text links there are also thumbnails. That took quite a bit of work, but it was well worth it. I also placed the contents at the top of the main page instead of the bottom. Now I just have to wait until tomorrow and see if Lunar comes out. If it does, it'll probably be a week or so before I get it because I ordered it from Gamecave. So much time 'till tomorrow. Well, I've already listened to KoRn's "Justin", "Seed" and "Cameltosis" so many times, a few more won't hurt. Hey, it beats staring at stucco on the ceiling.

Soon, oh so soon! All I did today was upload 25 pictures and spend 2 1/2 hours reformatting the picture page. I CANNOT WAIT for this Lunar game, but sadly I must.

I'm not feeling all that great today, but I had to update my page. All I really did was add the Links and Webrings page. I still have unabating Lunar fever. Not too long to go. Ah well, waiting sucks, but it's necessary. Oh, by the way. After I buy a couple of other things (namely the Xenogears Soundtrack and The FF2, FF3, ChronoTrigger and Secret of Mana carts for the SNES) I may consider hunting down copies of LUNAR TSS and LUNAR EB, dusting off the three inches of dust and three feet of various items that have piled up around my Sega systems, and seeing what the original games were like. I don't kow about the feasibility of this plan though. (I'm not that rich!) but more on it as it formulates.

WOOOO!!! Ok, I'm so tired that I feel....well, kinda like I'm drunk or something, but I hafta upate this page. It looks like May 15 (or so) be an acurate release date after all! (That's why I said WOO HOO!) To be honest, I don't know, but if it is, that means it's only 169 hours away! YEAH!!! As for the page, I added a message board as well as five pics of Luna, one of Alex and Luna and two of Ghaleon, who looks really cool. Of a personal note, the reason I have 8 pics of Luna is because I thought of something today. She reminds me of a cartoon version of someone.........well, someone I know, let's put it that way (except of course for the blue hair). In any case, I am so tired I'm going to pass out, so I'm going to watch Space Ghost C2C and Freakazoid and then go to bed. Cya later.

A LOT!!!!! First of all, as far as the game itself is concerned, I heard something about a release date 5/24, but this is not confirmed. Also, it is possible that WD is going to be bringing LUNAR: Eternal Blue Remix to the US sometime in the not-too-distant future. I hope I hope I hope I hope!!! I mena one game is good, but two is always better. As for the site itself, well it's undergone some major renovations. Primarily, it has been christened with an official name. "Laralla's Lunar Empire". Second, I took the single index page, and spread it out onto all the seperate pages. I also added the Poll, OPM Hook (Which is how I came to be fascinated by LUNAR) and Gameshark Codes sections. Finally, you'll find three new pics on the Pic page. They are captured from the behind the scenes video CD. Enjoy!! Now, nothing left to do but wait impatiently. ::Yawn::. C'mon Larlalla, let's go watch "The Simpsons" for 18 days.

HURRAY!!! Lunar SSSC has FINALLY been approved by Sony as of 5/1/99. Sez WD
"Working Designs announced today that Sony Computer Entertainment America has officially approved LUNAR:Silver Star Story Complete for release on the PlayStation game console. This means that LUNAR is headed toward the manufacturing process on Monday (5/3) and should be ready for shipment to stores by the second half of May 1999, along with the OFFICIAL Strategy guide." For more information you can go to The WD Homepage and suff. It's almost here!!! Hoo-boy, it's gonna be a long month. SOL exams, waiting for Lunar, all that sh.. uh, I mean stuff (Phew). I hope I make it! At least I've got a 24 pack of Sprite and a copy of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" to tide me over for awhile. Ahh!! Killer Rabbit! ......Nevermind.

Good and bad news friends. Bad news first. Although the release date for LSSSC was set to May 15, Working Designs says that this may be an unrealistic date, as the manufacturing process can take a while. Of course we all know that sucks, but why all the push backs? The statement is simple. Perfectionism. WD says that they have constantly been tweaking the Lunar game. So it looks like it'll be worth the wait. Now for the oh-so good news. Guess who ordered thier copy? C'mon guess! Guess dagnabit!! ME!!!! :::Trumpets go off in background:: Yes, that is correct. I Pre-Ordered my Lunar copy off of the Gamecave Website and I am feelin' GOOD about that. The only down side is that I do not get to experience the demo. :0( However, I did save $20 on the ordering price, so it's worth it I guess. A tidbit more info. I did some asking at WD's homepage. The Video CD is going to be about 30 minutes long and will feature (quote) "behind the scenes footage with the creators of the game and interviews with developers, programmers and voice actors." So that looks pretty awesome. After all I like behind the scenes stuff. After all, I can tell you who directed all of the first 8 Star Trek movies. (I am SUCH a nerd.....) But I digress. Also the music CD has a whopping 23 tracks, but a listing of them is not yet available.

Ok, good news on the homefront. Although Lunar SSS Complete still has no official release date, the Demo CD was shipped to retailers on Friday 4/16. The Demo is available when you pre-order the game. According to the Working Designs Homepage, the Full "Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete" has been sent to SCEA (Sony Computer Entertainment America) for it's final testing cycle. Manufacturing should begin soon, god willing. Let's all cross our fingers and meditate. Ohmmm. Ohmmm. Ok, enough meditation. Because of the still standing price difference, I'm waiting until LSSS comes out for retail so I can get it thru Game Cave whom you can catch in Gamepro magazine. ::Yawn:: this waiting is getting boring. As far as the site goes, I added pics of Lunar Merchandise. Particularly Mousepads and Posters.

Well I only have a few moments as I am not going to miss my favorite primetime lineup. I did some checking today on the pre-ordering process. It seems that to order it from Working Designs costs $70, but it's currently available to preorder. However, as I was checking on a few issues of GamePro I found an ad saying that although you can't preorder it from them, when it comes out, they'll carry it for $44. Needless to say, my gut tells me to spend the $70 and make sure I get it, but $26 is a big savings, so I'm just going to bug Gamepro's Gamecave section by calling them every other day to find out the release date. If you're interested in checking it out, you can look for the listing near the back of GamePro issues 125 and 126 (I think), perhaps even earlier than that. If, however, you have the money to burn, I would order it from WD directly. I also found a pic of the Strategy guide, also available at WD homepage for about $18.
