The Knoppix Distro is so unbelievably easy to use
that even a non-linux user could do it...
Simply stick in the CD-rom and boot off the cd
then when everything loads all nice and properly
and you get to the KDE environment, simply hit
CTRL-ALT-F2 or something like that to get to
a root command prompt

then type
knx-hdinstall

and essentially let it do the rest!
