'12 Stones' Christian Rock
at neonprimetime's den

Artist

I truly love 12 stones. They are one of my fav new bands of 2002.
They have a mainstream sound, but they put God into their lyrics.
They sound a lot like Creed, which I think is good, considering
that Creed won't declare themselves a 'Christian Band' so I stay
away from their music. 12 Stones music vids are also very catchy
and mainstreamish which is really cool.

Self-Titled Album

Their first album is a smash hit in my opinion.
Crash, is a great, and shows an emotion I always have...
"And I feel like I'm falling, farther every day, but I know that you're
 there watching over me."
Broken, is a very smooth sounding song that sounds very mainstreamish.
The Way I Feel, has a great music vid, and the lyrics really hit home.
Open Your Eyes, is a song that I'm debating singing in church. It's
got a good ring to it..."Don't Deny the Child living deep inside".
Home, is quite possibly my favorite song on this album. I just love
the ending to this song where it breaks into a duet of Eric singing
and whoever does the screaming...it's really really awesome!
Fade Away, is an ok sounding song, but not one of my favs.
Back Up, sounds really cool, especially when's he's singing...
"So Just stay away from me".
Soulfire, has the best opening to any song on this album.
"Every morning as I wake to another day, I bow my head hit my knees
and I begin to pray." It's my fav along with Home.
In My Head, is an ok song, just not one of my favs.
Running out of Pain, is a strong lyrical song...
"No love is worth the hate you feel".
My Life, is a song that I think everybody can relate to. Have you ever
had a time in your life when you wanted to learn something on your own and
you just needed time to yourself?
Eric's Song, is a great way to end the album. He's sick and tired of living
the old way...he's got a new reason to live.
