| Wrapped Around I was going to put the meanings of the poems here. I decided not to do that, obviously. Even though some of these poems have pretty obvious meanings, I wanted to leave each one open to interpretation by the reader. | I use my fluid motions to tempt you Never letting you too close I let my kisses tease you Til you want me most I smile at you and begin to turn You grab my arm And it's for me that you yern It's only your appetite, no need for alarm I've got you wrapped around my finger Just like all the others Who knows how long I'll allow you to linger To snuggle with me under the covers But when you look me in the eye My heart starts to flutter And my thoughts begin to fly Losing my mind as I soar higher I'm not supposed to give my heart away But, I just can't wait to see you again Living only for that day Don't you hate it when it's not in the plan Holding tight to our time together Wondering how long you'll let this linger Your touch, delicate as a feather And maybe, you've got me wrapped around your finger |
