| Trouble I was going to put the meanings of the poems here. I decided not to do that, obviously. Even though some of these poems have pretty obvious meanings, I wanted to leave each one open to interpretation by the reader. | You and I are lovers Sharing a love against the rules All eyes are on me And my eyes are on you The world hates The world dies But you are beautiful In my eyes We hold each other close Our secrets, we share We shed our lies Stand powerless and bare My world, A kingdom Merciless and cruel Your world, A family Where nobody rules Somehow we found each other In a world that has grown cold But we were soon found out And we couldn't keep our hold Our grip, it suddenly slipped As they tore away our cover I will never forget For you were once my lover |
