1990's Models

If you ever been is a store to get a new oil filter, windshield wipers,ect. and the book tells you that you have to know the engine code to get the right thing. It gives you two options. The Y is the Dohc and the C is the Sohc.

Fluid Limits:

Engine Oil......................... 4.5 quarts

Automatic Trans. Fluid ..... 8.9 quarts

Manula Trans. Fluid.......... 2.3 quarts

Antifreeze(1995)................ 7.4 quarts

Antifreeze(1996 and later.. 6.5 quarts

Fuel.................................... 12.5 gal.

Engine Specifications:
Type ........................... In-Line OHV, DOHC & SOHC
Bore ........................... 87.5mm (3.445")
Stroke ........................ 83.0mm (3.268")
Compression Ratio:
SOHC ........................ 9.8:1
DOHC ........................ 9.6:1
Spark Plug Type ............... Champion RCY9C, or equal plug
Recommended Gap........... .033 to .038 inch
Firing Order....................... 1,3,4,2
Oil Filter............................. MOPAR 4105409, Bosch D366
Recomm. Fuel(SOHC)........ 87+ Octane
Recomm. Fuel(DOHC)........ 89+ Octane
Do Not Use Gasoline that Contains Methanol(Your Warrranty won't Cover the Damages if you do)
