July 4th Celebration

There is one day all US citizens become one.
That day is July 4th the birthday of our nation.
I was thinking as i drove home from work tonight how my blood was singing. There is a special excitement this time of year. There are no barriers between us. We are a nation of many different people but this one time we are all together.
Though we all celebrate with friends and family, in spirit we are shoulder to shoulder. Our hearts filled with pride that we are so lucky to be here.
While we are celebrating remember those that have fought for this freedom. Especially those that gave all they had, their life.
If you know a vet or anyone in the military, guys shake his hand, or if you know him well give him a hug. Ladies you can do the same. Let them know how proud we are of our nation and how much we appreciate the sacrifices they have made.
Remember those that can't be here with us because they are in other lands helping people to have what we have, or as near to it as they can get.
Raise your flag high and show others your pride in our people, our country, and our nation, under God. Never forget Him for we would be lost if he turned away from us. Hold to your faith, we have been given that right.
