The Well

This heart in me is like a well, hidden deep in the dark woods, surrounded by a small grassy meadow filled with flowers. There is a glow that only one can truly see. A few have seen a glimmer and started the search. Their light of love isn't true and it goes out and they lose the hidden path. Someday soon the right one's heart will see the glow and his light of love will guide him down the hidden path through the darkness. There he will find the well. Then with a love thats true, and some tenderness and caring the well will burst forth. The water will be everflowing and sweet as the nectar of ambrosia. The golden light of love will light the forest as the sun and all will be able to see the glow from afar. Only true love can light the path through the darkness. Only true love can keep the well everflowing. Only your love!
