Sunrise

Have you ever been on the river early in the morning when the sun is just coming up? The birds are waking up and calling out to each other to greet the day. There is a mist on the water and the fish are jumping in the river. The sun comes up in colors of pink and gold, and touches the tops of the trees as it rises. Every where it touches comes to life in brilliant colors of gold and red, rust, and still lots of green. High overhead the buzzards have taken flight in the early morning. The skies are puffy and pink from the rising sun. As it gets brighter you can see it sparkle through the mist. At full sunup a new day is born. One of peace and tranquility.
