By the Sea

Come my love walk with me. Lets take a stroll by the
sea. Hand in hand along the shore. Tell me of your
love once more. See the sparkle of the sun on the
droplets as the waves wash upon the shore. Hear the
cry of the seagulls as they fly over. Watch the
pelicans fly just above the waves as they search for
the food they crave. Look there by the rocks, see the
starfish there. Feel the crunch of the sand under your
feet. Wade in the shallows and feel the backwash. See
the foam stick to your bare feet. Can you feel the
sand pull away with the tide? These things I see as I
walk by your side. The pleasures I see in life I will
share. Search for those special shells with me. We
will take them home to put in a jar to look at and
remember this special day. Stay with me here to walk
the shore. When the moon light kisses the curls of the
waves and sprakles on the water to make a moonlit path
to our future. Can you feel the peace the sound of the
waves puts into your soul. Sit there with me and close
your eyes hear the softness of the waves at low tide.
Wait with me to welcome a new day as the sun rises out
of the sea to spread its warmth across the waves. Turn
your face upward and let the sun's ray give you its
first kiss of the day. The second kiss will be mine.
Hear the gulls and seabirds as they wake to the dawn.
These things that are my joy I will share with you my
love. As you will share the things that bring you joy.
That is what love is about the sharing and the caring.
So take my hand and walk beside me as we stroll
through life together.
