Loves Arrows

I feel your words of love as they pierce my heart like
an arrow. With joy I open my arms and welcome the pain
as I take the arrows in my heart. When the words have
stopped I close my arms and lock them away. To have
them there in my heart to hear again when I am so
lonely for you. To hear them at night when you are
away from me. To give me peace when I am afraid. Those
arrows have so embedded in my heart that they will
remain there forever. How my heart is so filled with
love to be returned. Oh to hold you in my arms
forever. This love would last beyond eternity.
