Warpaint

We had a place back of a small field where we always had our garden. One day my mom and dad were back there hoeing the weeds out. While they were busy my brother and I were pretty much on our own. We were playing cowboys and indians and we tied the top of dogfennel clumps together and made tepees. This we did lots of times for tepees. Well we decided we weren't indian enough. So we went to the house and got my mom's lipstick. Then we preceeded to paint each others face. So we played indians for a while then we went down to the garden where our parents were. As soon as we got close enough my dad looked up and asked us what we were doing with all that warpaint on. We told him we were playing indian. Naturally he made us go wash it off. I think my mom had to finish the job because then lipstick wasn't easy to get off. That taught us a lesson tho', after our faces had to be scrubbed. Don't put on warpaint when you play indian! Pretend its there.
Then one day..
