Summer Rain

After a summer rain the air is fresh and feels so cool
and the nights are right for sleeping. I love the
sound of a slow rain at night I can sleep so much
better listening to the soft patter of raindrops
outside my window. I love to walk in the woods after a
summer rain. The leaves on the trees are clean and
sparkling green. Its like washing a dirty childs face.
I see a squirrel getting a sip from the rain on the
leaves. They are happy and they let you know it. The
birds are splashing in puddles taking a long awaited
cooling bath. Their songs are happier. Can you see how
happy all the animals are? Walk with me through the
woods. Smell the freshness, hear the happy sounds of
the birds and the animals.
