I know in life sometimes we need big things like a house
Can make a big difference in your life;
But not so big it can't be a home where you don't loose each other
A car to take you where you need to go and be dependable
But not so big it is too expensive to enjoy by you and your family
A vacation doesn't have to be expensive if its enjoyed by all
Its the little things in life that bring us joy
Like a sloppy wet kiss and hug from a small child
A call from a friend to let you know they still care and
are thinking about you
A step off the well used path to a panarama of unexpected beauty
Just the site of a bird feeding its babies is a kind of beauty
A doe with a spotted fawn following behind her
A smile from a stranger that might say we could be friends
A bright sunrise or sunset shared with someone special
To take a walk in the woods and come upon an unexpected stream with
a musical sound of running water over rocks
A thundering waterfall somewhere in a valley that holds you in awe of its power
A moonlight walk on the beach to watch the moon rise out of the ocean
Sometimes a surprise little memento from someone that brings back memories of times shared
A trip to places of your childhood to remember old friends and people you grew up with
that helped mold you into who you are
A warm hug from a friend when you feel down,no words, just a hug to let you know they are there if you need them
Joy in life doesn't have to cost anyting but a little time to stop and look around you
So much beauty in life could be free you just have to look
Sometimes just a slight turn of the head with open eyes that see can show you undescribable beauty
