Hey wake up! don't stay in bed
Think what you are missing!
The sun as it rises to begin a new day
The early breeze at first dawn that
blows gently through your hair
Listen as it tickles the leaves in passing
Can't you just hear them giggle with
the joy it brings
Watch the birds as they fly high and
happy, full of life
Listen to them sing out to let other birds know
how happy they are
Take a deep breath and smell life all around you
The cool sweetness of a misty morning
The air filled with the smell of pine and
flowers hanging low in the mist
Feel the love of God as he surrounds you
with the treasures he has given you
Let your heart soar high and feel all
that surrounds you

There is joy everywhere you only have
to look with eyes that see
Listen to the happiness in nature
A butterfly drifts past on its up and down flight
searching for that special flower
Be quiet! stand still! the rustle of leaves near
