PATCHES ON MY HEART

How can you close off your heart? How can you protect it from hurt? How can you keep it safe from someone walking in and tearing it apart. When your hearts door is open there is always pain because someone always comes in and tears down the walls then walks out leaving it stripped bare and bleeding. Just when you get it repaired and whole again it happens again. How long will it take before there is no more left to patch up? How long before someone comes to save my heart from total destruction? How long before someone can use a part of his heart for repairs? How long before someone is willing to make that sacrifice to heal both our hearts? How long before a true and lasting love can make it whole again? How long before I won't be afraid to leave it open? How long before there is someone to pick up the peices each time it gets broken? Where ever you are you must hurry the nails are rusting and the walls are getting thin. Soon there will be no need for support for it will crumble and fall beyond repair!
