* Access ABCs - Begin CPR * Confirm Cardiac Rhythm in more then one lead
Asystole
PEA (Pulseless Electrical Activity)
Identify and Treat Causes* Severe Hypoxemia* Severe Acidosis* Severe Hypovolemia* Tension Pneumothorax* Cardiac Tamponade* Profound Hypothermia
* Continue CPR* Intubation* Ventilation with 100% Oxygen* Obtain IV or IO access
Epinephrine - First Dose IV or IO : 0.01 mg / kgET : 0.1 mg / kg
Epinephrine - Second and Subsequent Dose IV or IO or ET : 0.1 mg / kgUp to 0.2 mg / kg
Repeat every 3-5 min
Consider more potencial causes such as :* Hyperkalemia* Drug's Over dose , include Calcium Channal Blockers , Beta Blockers , ect.
