History
The Israeli Paramedics Association (IPA) was established in 1993 and legaly registed at the Registration's Office of the Israeli Associations Authorities.
The Israeli Paramedics Association - a non profit organization - is working to develop acceptable educational standards to increase the paramedics professional level and to improve the delivery of everyday and mass casualty prehospital emergency medical care.

IPA established the B.EMS (Bachelor of Emergency Medical Sciences) academic program for paramedics at Ben-Gurion University, The first students will grduate this year.

IPA was the first to offer the Paramedics in Israel , ACLS , PALS courses , and preparing the Continues Education Programs for its members.

The Israeli Paramedics Association submitted draft of "Paramedic Act" to the Israeli Parlament and strives to increase the public awareness to the Paramedics Profession and Emergency Medicine.
