Pilif Saga

Dragonball starts off as young Goku meets Bulma. Bulma hits Goku with her car; surprisingly Goku and his fish weren't injured at all. Bulma then explains to Goku what DragonBalls are, Goku tells Bulma that he has a DragoBall; has four stars on it. Goku refuses to give up the DragonBall so he decides to join Bulma to find the DragonBalls. During this journey Goku and Bulma make tons of friends including, Oolong, Yamcha, Kame-sama, ChiChi, and King Ox. Later in the saga Goku and the others battle Pilif. During this battle Goku turns Oozaru (Big Monkeys) form destroying Pilif's castle.

Red Ribbon Saga

During this saga Goku goes under training with Master Roshi (Kame-Sama), later on Krillin joins Goku and trains as well. Master Roshi teaches Goku and Krillin the dreaded Kamehameha. Later, Karin trains Goku again, but this time his training was focused to defeat Dr. Gero.

Piccolo Saga

This saga starts off as Goku enters the Tenkaichi-Budokai; during this tournament Goku meets Tien and Choazu. The final match is between Goku and Tien; Goku loses in this battle. After the battle Krillin is murdered, Goku starts looking for the killer. Meantime Piccolo-Diamoho is causing terror around the world. In a battle with Piccolo-Diamoho, Tien is about to die, when suddenly Goku arrives and defeats Piccolo-Diamoho. Before Piccolo-Daimoho dies he gives birth. Knowing that Piccolo-Damioho gave birth, Kame-Sama trains Goku. At the next tournament, Goku battles Piccolo-Damioho and defeats him, sparing his life at the end. At the end of the series Goku matures, meets Chi-Chi and marries her.

Vegeta Saga

Goku now being an adult, has a five-year-old son named Gohan (named after Goku's grandfather). At the reunion of the DragonBall gang, Radditz arrives, who turns out to be Goku's brother, tells Goku of his Saiyan heritage. Then Radditz kidnaps Gohan. Piccolo helps Goku fight Radittiz for his own personal reasons (well they agree that it would be best for Earth). During the battle, Goku sacrifices his life to kill Radditz. Foolishly Piccolo tells Radditz the secret of the DragonBalls. The message is transmitted to Vegeta and Nappa on another planet light-years away, who decided to wish for immortality. Gohan shows great strength in the battle, his anger powers him up to a level higher than Goku! Since then Piccolo trains him, hard. Goku (now at King Kai�s, since he died in battle), at this time, is being trained by Kaio-sama (King Kai). Kaig-sama teaches Goku the Genki-Dami (Spirit Bomb) and Kaio-Ken attacks. Piccolo�s twin, Shen, is training the other Z warriors. Once the Saiyans arrive, Yamacha, Chozu, Tien, and Piccolo gets killed in battle. Goku arrives and easily defeats Nappa. Later Vegeta kills Nappa, mainly because of his foolishness, and carelessness. The battle between Vegeta and Goku begins, Goku defeats Vegeta using Kaio-ken x 3, the battle comes to an end when Vegeta has no more energy and no place to hide. Vegeta goes to his space pod and flies off to Freeza's planet to recover. Knowing there are no DragonBalls on Earth since Piccolo died (who will be wished back and thus the return of the DragonBalls) his attention draws to Goku and Earth, but he still wants immortality. Bulma, Gohan, and Krillin go off to planet Namek where the other DragonBalls are, to wish the Z warriors back, with the spaceship Shen used to get to Earth. Meanwhile Goku is resting and recovering in a hospital, Vegeta finds out that there are DragonBalls on Namek, he recovers, heads for planet Namek, and thus the beginning of the Frieza Saga.

Frieza Saga

Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan finally arrive on Namek (after landing on a fake Namek with the Space Ark Children, Raachi and Zaakro who have the abilities to create illusions). They soon learn Vegeta is also on Namek. Later the Z crew learns of the most powerful warrior in the universe, Frieza, and he as well is on Namek. Goku gets healed from his battle against Vegeta from a Senzu Bean given by Yajorobe. Goku soon flies off to Namek on a modified space pod (which was formerly the space pod Goku used to come to Earth) by Dr. Brief (Bulma's father). Goku later trains in 100 x Earth's gravity, increasing his regular power level from 5,000 to 180,000. Frieza, later summons the Ginyu Force. Goku later arrives and finds all his friends and Vegeta nearly dead by the battle with the Ginyu Force. Goku gives them Senzu Beans (including Vegeta) and than defeats Recoome with a single elbow dash. Goku and Vegeta later defeat the rest of the Ginyu Force with ease, but Goku's body gets heavily injured in the battle against Captain Ginyu. The rest of the warriors try to battle Frieza, but are no match. Piccolo is brought back to life and teleported to Namek on accident. Vegeta is killed in battle right when Goku regenerates (in the healing chamber) and come to the battle. Piccolo later fuses with Nail, the strongest native Namek. This doubles Piccolo's strength (Note: They did not use the Fusion Dance, they did it the old-fashioned Namek way). Now begins the great battle between Goku and Frieza. Goku powers up to full strength, but is still no match for Frieza, so Goku decides to create a Genki-Dami. Piccolo realizes what Goku is doing, so he attacks Frieza to buy him some time. Frieza starts beating the hell out of Piccolo. Then Gohan, and Krillin join the battle. Soon after, Goku decides he has enough energy to kill Frieza, he throws the Genki-Dami at Frieza. Frieza is overwhelmed and sandwiched by the blast. Everyone is blown away by the blast. Walking away from the scene, Krillin spots Frieza. Frieza is now missing half of his tail and is really pissed. Frieza in anger blasts Piccolo dead and blows Krillin in chunks. Goku with such rage and anger transforms him into Super Saiyan form (SSJ). It seems like Goku loses all the personality in himself, and only has one goal, to kill Frieza. Goku starts to beat the hell out of Frieza. Frieza later turns full strength and thus a great battle begins. At the end, Goku defeats Frieza and becomes the strongest warrior in the universe. Unfortunately, Namek explodes and everyone thinks Goku died with the explosion. One year his father, King Cold, puts later Frieza back together in a robotic form. They arrive on Earth with an army, the Z warriors lose all hope, and even Vegeta thinks its over (the DragonBalls revived him). Suddenly, a teenager comes out of nowhere, beats the crap out of Frieza. Not only that, he is a Saiyan! Turing Super Saiyan, he kills Frieza and King Cold with his sword easily. All he says is that he is waiting for Goku, then Goku appears out of nowhere. Goku tells of his troubles and also demonstrates his new teleportation technique. The teenager says that his name is Trunks. He is also the son of Bulma and Vegeta! He is from the future and comes back in time to warn the Z warriors of androids that will terrorize the world in three years. Trunks also says that Goku will die from a heart disease. However, Trunks has brought medicine for him. He says that he will come back in three years to fight the androids. Now the Z warriors must train for the androids arriving in three years. Three years pass and now the Cell Saga (Cell Games) will begin.

Cell Saga

Three years passed since Trunks' arrival. A lot has changed since then, Trunks from the future is now called Miari Trunks since Chibi Trunks is born, and Vegeta joins the Z warriors, but having the same attitude. Miari Trunks arrives from the future to find that there is another android, Android #16. The androids in Miari Trunks' timeline are #17 and #18. Also the creator, Dr. Gero, turns himself into Android #21. Vegeta who learns how to turn Super Saiyan during his training easily defeats him. Right before he dies, he activates #17 and #18, who are out of control and kill Dr. Gero. However he secretly has already issued a final command for Android #22 (Cell). Cell is made of single cells from the strongest warriors in the universe. (In the future Cell breaks out of his test tube and seeks to absorb #17 and #18. But they are too weak and nowhere to be found, so he goes to the past in his larva form.) When Cell finally absorbs the androids, he turns into Perfect Cell. No one can offer a challenge so he starts thinking of all the fights as games (Thus the title, Cell Games). Cell later announces that he will hold a tournament to the warriors that think they can defeat him. The tournament begins. First, a fighter from Earth, who is really a coward that takes all the credit and is really weak, Mr. Satan battles. He gets defeated easily by on slap from Cell. Then, Goku fights with Cell, the battle ends with the winner Goku. But Cell gets so mad that he self-destructs and blow up the whole Solar System. Goku quickly teleports him and himself to a safe distance, like King Kai's Planet. He blows up killing both Goku and Kink Kai. Everyone was sad, but the battle wasn't over yet, Cell somehow regenerated from just one cell from his body, and decides to take Gohan as his next challenger. He tries to piss off Gohan so that he will be more challenging. The plan works when he creates seven Baby Cells who kills his friends. And he kills Miari Trunks with a surprise attack. Gohan gets pushed off the edge and powers up and reaches SSJ2, Cell realizes that he over did it. Gohan defeats the Baby Cells with just one kick to each of them. Gohan starts to attack Cell. As the battle goes on, Gohan's right arm gets crippled. He creates a Kamehameha, Cell than creates his own Kamehameha. Son Gohan over powers Cell and kills him with only one arm! Everyone is wished back to life except Goku because he was already wished back to life once. But Goku was proud of his son and watched over him in the heavens, while King Kai kept on yelling at Goku for bringing Cell to his planet. Miari Trunks later returns to his own time.

Boo Saga

Seven years pass since the Cell Game. Krillin marries #18 (who was wished to human by the DragonBalls) and has a daughter named Marron. Chi-Chi has a seconded son named Goten, Goten and Trunks (Chibi) turned SSJ at an early age. Gohan has a girl friend named Videl, the daughter of Satan (Satan takes all the credit for killing Cell, this got him really famous ), Gohan is also a superhero named the Great SaiyanMan. During The Tenkaichu-Boudoukai, Gokoh is granted a single day of life to meet with Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Chi-Chi, and all the Z warriors, including Vegeta. Two of Buu's slaves steal Gohan's energy, then a man named Kaoiusen revives Gohan, he than tells of a evil demon named Buu trying to destroy the Earth. If Buu's slaves gather enough energy, he will be revived. Vegeta learning that he can become stronger by turning into Buu's slave, Vegeta turns evil again, this time he is Majan Vegeta and can turn to SSJ2. This gives Buu enough energy to be revived. Goku then learns to turn to SSJ2 and fights him and convinces him that good always triumphs over evil. Vegeta finally realizes and self-destructs in hope to kill Buu. Goku heads to battle against Buu. Goku than turns SSJ2,and SSJ3 (Really long hear and electric sparks around the body)! But he still can't defeat Buu. Later, Gohan heads to the Kaoiusen's planet for training. Before Goku's time is up on Earth he teaches Goten and Trunks the fusing technique, then they get trained by Piccolo so they can be strong enough to beat Buu. Soon after Goten and Trunks fuse to become Gotenks, later Gotenks turns SSJ1, and then, SSJ3! But Buu has made a twin of himself, but he is a lot more evil than Buu, he even absorbed Buu and thus turning him into Super Buu. Gotenks is defeating Super Buu, but Gotenks is an inexperienced and careless fighter. Buu absorbs Gotenks and becomes a lot stronger, then absorbs Piccolo. Dia Kaoiusin then sacrifices his life so Goku can live. Goku then gets a pair of Potara Earrings for fusion, this way the fused person won't diffuse in 30 min. Goku now alive teleports to the battle. Then King Yama grants Vegeta life to fight Buu. When Son Goku arrives to the scene he tells Gohan to fuse with him, Goku than throws a fusion earring at Gohan. Gohan drops the earring and Buu absorbs Gohan, thus turning himself into Ultimate Buu. Then Vegeta comes to the scene. Vegeta then fuses with Goku to become, Vegetto. Veggeto defeats Buu, but purposely gets absorbed to rescue their friends. This somehow wears off the permanent fusion. They rescue Goten, Gohan, Trunks, Piccolo, and Fat Buu through Ultimate Buu's pores. All of the energy that Buu has taken restores him back to his normal form, Majin Buu. Then he destroys the Earth. Kaoiu-sin teleports to help Goku teleport Vegeta, Satan, his dog, and Dende to Kaoiu-sin's planet. Vegeta gets angry because he rescued them instead of his son and the rest of the Z fighters. Goku was speechless. But there wasn't any time for that, Majin Buu also teleports to the planet Goku's on, and start to fight. Goku starts to get beaten up badly. Vegeta jumps into battle so Goku can create a Genki-Dami. The Namek DragonBalls are gathered to wish back the Earth and to wish back everyone killed by Buu. The third wish is stored for later use. Goku's Genki-Dami (Energy given by the Nameks, the people in the Heavens, and everyone on Earth) is ready to throw, Goku throws it, and Buu pushes it back. Vegeta tells Dende to wish back all of Goku's strength back. Now with all his strength restored Son Goku, he throws back the Genki-Dami at Buu. Buu can't counter it any longer, so he is killed. Ten years after the battle against Majin Buu, Fat Buu is revived into an evil cleansed form called Ubbo. Goku decides to train him since he has great potential. Gohan and Vidal get married and have a daughter named Pan. This concludes DragonBall Z.

Baby Saga

Ten years after the end of Dragonball Z, Goku gets turned into a child again by a wish Pilaf made. The only way Goku can get back in his normal state is by finding the Black Star Dragonballs scattered across space. Goku, Pan, and Trunks go on journeys battling minor villains. At one planet, the DragonBall gang stumbles across Baby. Baby sneaks on board and lands on Earth. Baby takes over bodies in hope of finding a good host. Baby first uses Goten and Gohan as hosts, but he finally finds the most powerful host, it is Vegeta! Vegeta now turns into Babi-Vegeta. A great battle between Goku and Vegeta begins. It turns out Goku is no match for Babi-Vegeta. Then Kaiousin pulls out Goku's tail, hoping he can go into Oozaru stage. It works, but Goku still cannot defeat Babi-Vegeta, who now is Super Babi (Oozaru Babi-Vegeta). Then something weird happens, Goku takes control of his body now and transforms into SSJ4 Goku! Goku soon defeats Super Babi. (Note: Babi-Vegeta can also turn to SSJ4)

Super 17 / Evil Shenlong Saga

In hell, Dr. Gero and Myuu create Artificial 17, who comes from hell to fuse with Android #17, when they fused, they became Super 17. Son Goku gets tricked into going to hell to fight Cell and Frieza, who was already dead. Without Goku, the earth is doomed. Piccolo, (who died in the Baby Saga) and Dende creates a portal so Goku can get out of hell. Goku later kills Super 17. When the DragonBalls are gathered to wish back the people killed in battle something goes wrong. Shenlong says that with all the negative energy the DragonBalls have stored, seven evil dragons have been formed. Each dragon possesses a DragonBall, so Goku and the Z fighters go off to fight the evil dragons. When they come up against Li, SSJ4 Son Goku fuses with...SSJ4 Vegeta! Making SSJ4 Gogeta. He beats the crap out of him with ease. But Gogeta's fusion span was shortened because of the 4th stage of Super Saiyan. They can only stay fused for 20 min instead of 30 min. Just when Gogeta was about to finish Li, he diffuses. But the 2 warriors eventually killed the worn out Li. When all seven dragons have been defeated, the real Shenlong appears and grants Goku one wish, the wish is that everyone killed in battle against the dragons to be brought back to life. Shenlong tells Goku to get on his back, then the seven DragonBalls are absorbed into Goku, and his whole body vanishes, leaving only his clothes on the ground. It seems that Son Goku is the most powerful fighter in the universe to have the DragonBalls absorbed.
