The
Perak Association of Koshiki Karate-do is planning to co-hosts with the Penang
Koshiki Karate-do Association, Kedah Koshiki Karate-do Association and Perlis
Koshiki Karate-do Association for the “North Malaysia Koshiki Karate-do Championship”
on 21/08/2005 at Butterworth, Penang.
We are hoping to get the full support from the Ministry of Youth &
Sports for this major events. We will
be grateful to have Shihan Hiroshi Hisataka (from JAPAN), Shihan Masamitsu
(from JAPAN), Shihan Scott Brown (from AUSTRALIA) and Shihan Mamadou (from
AFRICA) to be our Chief Referee, Chief Arbitrator and Chief Judge for the
championship. A small team from
Australia might be coming along to participate.
Other
than the above championship, there will be a higher “grade / dan promotion” and
“seminar / referee clinic” which conducted by the representatives from
WKKF.
The
above championship is “OPEN” to all styles of karate-do and forms of martial art
for the interest to promote “Safety Contact Karate”. The governing body of the competition is under the World Koshiki
Karate-do Federation (WKKF) to promote “hard style”. Interested may write directly to the Perak Association of Koshiki
Karate-do for entry form, rules and conditions of the competition.
If
there is any party interested to sponsor for the major championship such as
“super safe protective gears”, “T-shirts” and “sign board” bearing the name of
their company also free to enquiry. We
welcome sponsorship and individual support to promote the ideal sport and
practical form of martial art well known in the world.
