Clytemnestra and Agamemnon

(Ephor)

Artist's Comments:
Kind of the same format as my Menelaus and Helen picture: they're supposed to be parallel. This is Clytemnestra pleading with her husband not to kill their daughter, with Agamemnon turning away in guilt. He certainly came out pudgy and pink (some of that is flush), which is interesting, because I'm always tempted to draw him as a Hellenic Hunk. I'm glad he looks more human. Pretentiously enough, the red is supposed to foreshadow Iphigenia's sacrifice.
