Division I
Tiffin

This would be the easiest regional to predict.  In the team race, look for Strongsville to continue their march towards state.  I would then choose the emerging St. Joe's in second place.  I think Joe's is coming together at the right time and will qualify easily.  After this point, it gets a bit fuzzy.  I still see Ashland as a solid third place team.  The last qualifier spot is a toss up.  Go with whoever you like.  The contenders are Magnificat, Toledo Notre Dame, and Findlay.  Seeing as how we are from the Northeast, I would have to be pulling for Mags.  However, instinct tells me Findlay will prevail.
In the individual race, Michelle Sikes will roll.  However, look for her to be pushed.  Molly Hammer from Elyria will be right on her heels.  The district champs from out west are Poling from Southview and Wagner from Toledo Notre Dame.  They'll both be behind Kelly Ardelean in third place and Brittnee Barris in fourth.  After that look for Fejes from Holy Name and Mistur from St. Joe's to be right up there.

Boardman

The team race at Boardman will be a really interesting one.  Look for Jackson to emerge victorious.  The girls from Massilon had an easy week last week and have a history of running well on this course, look no further than their runner up finish at the Boardman invite.  The battle for second and third will be a rematch of old foes.  Medina and Kent will have a rematch after Kent's bad day at Goodyear.  Not to deminish Medina's victory as they too had several runners off of peak form.  I'll go with Kent this week with Medina third.  The sleeper in this field and the probable fourth place finisher is Mentor.  They are deep and will fair well on a course like Boardman.
The individual race is going to be fun as well.  There are many underlying stories. To this one.  First, the winner.  Ashley Hmiel should be able to step up and win this one.  She was not pushed last week and rarely has been thoughout the season.  For second place I'm going with Lindsay Wojciak.  Knowing Lindsay, she should start stepping up this week.  She ran well earilier in the season on this course at the invite finishing 5th and will be ready to go this weekend.  If she falters however, look for teammate Kim Jendre to step up and be with her step for step.  Jendre seized the opportunity last weekend and captured the district title.  The wild card in this field is Delia Springstubb.  What will she do?  Being only a freshman, how will she handle the pressure of the regional meet.  She can finish anywhere from first to tenth.  Having big sister Pheobe right with her shall be a benefit.  Kelly Felter from Kent has the chance for a top five finish if she can be there all the way.  Anything less than her best won't do it.  Also, sophomore Jodi Hensel needs to start running like she did as a freshman.  Ashley Meeks from Jackson will also be top ten and McCauley from Stow will qualify individually with Blackmon from Wadsworth as well.
