OGXC Division III Top 10 Teams Fifth In-Season Rankings - Oct. 11th, 2002 |
1. FORT LORAMIE - We'll see how they do at the District meet and then we'll have a better read. The emergence of frosh Mallory Albers helps them a lot. 2. MINSTER - Right now only Olding and Gruber are running well. The rest need to step it up. Right now FL's 3-5 are running much better. 3. HOPEWELL LOUDON - They're running well behind Reinhart, but I don't think they have enough to chase down the top two. 4. SPENCERVILLE - A close second behind H-L at Lancaster. Won Botkins going away. 5. MCDONALD - They are struggling right now. None are running to their potential, but they are hanging tough. They always come on at the end. 6. VERSAILLES - They ran great at Coldwater and are really stepping it up. They look stronger every week. 7. FISHER CATHOLIC - Very quietly putting together a great season in Central Ohio. Quite a bit behind Spencerville and H-L at Lancaster. 8. GILMOUR ACADEMY - The Lancers are running really well and are coming off an upset of McDonald at Boardman. Won their conference meet with a perfect 15. 9. SENECA EAST - Looked well in control at Clay. They always come on in the end. We'll see if they can pull out another. 10. ST. THOMAS AQUINAS - Running well now, but they have a history of tough times in the postseason. Others - Barnesville, Madeira, Otsego, Hawken, Crestview. |
