Fourth In-season Rankings - Oct. 10th, 2002
1.  Carolyn Rauen (Turpin) - An early season loss to Bizzarri and she's been unstoppable since.  Including a 17:55 to win over Infeld at MMOC. Ran third at St. X in 18:15 with badly bruised knee from Soccer.   Was 7th at the difficult Great American XC festival.  Won conference in a sprint with Bizzarri.

2.  Michelle Sikes (Lakewood) - She dominated Tiffin with a huge win and then won Strongsville in 17:58 to win by over a minute.  Followed up that week with a win at Pickerington.  Won at McQuaid on short course.  Won the LEL in a walkover.

3.  Angela Bizzarri (Mason) - A true impact freshman finding her stride.  After being outkicked by King earlier in the year she ran away from her at Fairmont to win in 18:27.    Narrowly lost to Rauen on a lean at her conference meet.

4.  Emily King (Coffman) - Looking like her old self and still undefeated as well.  Won Lancaster, won her conference meet over teammate Churchill with an 18:20.

5.  Corey Randall (Turpin) - Really came into her own with win at St. X in 18:11.  A tenth place at Great American and 3rd in her conference behind Rauen and Bizzarri.

6.  Casey Keefer (Lakota East) - Really coming into her own.  Won Cloverleaf in 18:58.  Won her conference over Maas in 18:44.

7.  Andrea Maas (Colerain) - Ran a blistering 18:15 at MSU.  Previous best this year was 18:51.  Not sure about the course.  9th at MMOC and 5th at Middletown.  Second at conference to Keefer.

8.  Hilliard Davidson's Pack (HD) - It's a different leader every week.  But they are all worthy of a ranking, so they all get it together.  Melissa Horner, Lindsey Helge, Danielle Durzo, Mia Fiegelist, Kellie Crook, and Jessica Schmidt.

9.  Carol Eckerly (Beavercreek) - Ran 18:44 at Pickerington to separate herself from the field and only fall to Sikes.  Third at Fairmont in 18:52 to King and Bizzarri.  Won her conference in 18:56.

10.  Kaitlyn Chambers (Magnficat) - Continues to step it up every week.  Won All-Catholic and ran second to Infeld at Malone.

Others to watch:  Bridget Dalic (Strongsville); Jenny Homan (Anderson); Alli McMaster (Tol. St. Ursula); Melanie Price (Turpin); Kendra Churchill (Dublin Coffman); Lindsay Carter (Hilliard Darby); Rachel Beakas (Anthony Wayne)
