Division II Regional Preview

Boardman Regional

Here we get another gift from our friends in Columbus.   A double regional, that is horrible inbalanced.  In region one the top teams are Beaumont, CVCA, Perry, and Chagrin Falls.  Beaumont is a lock but if either CVCA or Perry has an off day Chagrin could get in.  In region 2 you have Alliance, Canton Central Catholic, Revere, and Rocky River.  I think the top team here is CCC, but honestly all 4 are pretty equal.  Sanker and Altus give River an edge, so they should make it.
Individually in Region 1 it is all Infeld.  Pirc and Fick aren't healthy enough to challenge and Collins just isn't on Infeld's level.  Davies will be in the mix too.  In Region 2 it should be Sanker.

Tiffin Regional

This regional will only qualify 3 teams to state.  Huron and Sandusky Perkins should be the favorites here in this weak region.  Outside of them Van Wert could battle for the title and Defiance will be around.  Not to be overlooked is Pemberville Eastwood as they always contend and are coming off a District win.
Individually, outside of Amy Renner from Huron, there really isn't that much here.  Yoder of Defiance will likely be second.

Lancaster Regional

Bellaire, Dover and Carrollton head the field here and will qualify.  Circleville is tough behind Ankrom.  New Albany and Morgan could contend as well.  The race will be much more interesting individually.  Sara Weisman of Galia is the clear favorite and should run away from the field.  But chasing will be Carrollton's Abby Wood, Circleville's Katy Ankrom, Jenny Brooks of Buckeye Valley, and the Ramey Sisters of Highland.

Troy Regional

Tough, tough, tough.  Taylor leads the teams here as they have pretty much dominated d2 all season long behind frosh Emily Thompson and senior Carrie Crofford.  McNicholas comes in next behind Jamie Roflow.  Wyoming should be up for third with their balance, but well behind the first two.  Tippacanoe, Indian Lake, and Bellbrook will battle for the 4 spot.  I like Bellbrook as the favorite.
Individually it will be all Thompson.  Second will be between Roflow, Lisa Uible of Indian HIll, Brittany Tinsley of Indian Lake, and Megan Via of Brookville.  I like Tinsley for two, Uible for 3, Roflow for 4 and Via for 5.  Crofford of Taylor could be in the mix as well.
