This game is great. It is a stratagy war game, about an ancient war in China about 200A.D. All the characters, generals, of this war are given stats such as Inteligence, Charm, War/power, ect.. I first played Romance on SNES... I loved it and I even read the novel Romance of the three kindoms (note it ain't a romance novel!!!), it's all about what happend in this war. Every time this game comes out with a new version, it just keeps getting better, graphix, characters, music and the endings get better too. The game is very hard to explain so i suggest you buy it and see! =)

For those who already play this game, you may know that Tsao Tsao is the best to use. But personally I'd say Tsao Tsao should only be used by begginers. For more advanced players you will get the most fun by using weaker empires. My personal favorites are Ma Teng and Liu Bei. And i even do things such as (with Liu Bei), fight all the way to the South Eastern provinces, which actually happend in the war. So I sometimes try to make it harder to play by doing stuff like that, and believe me it makes the game way more fun!
