If Neapolitan Mastiffs are kept clean and parasite - free by
frequent bathing, they do not really have severe problems their skin. The
potential for skin problems do exist though.
Bathing every 10 - 14 days is ample for a in door Neo.
Bathing every 14 - 21 days is ample for a outside Neo.
* Or as needed.
*(Follow the directions on the Shamphoo bottle)
The real chore is getting your Neo into the bath tub.
Holding the skin back during washing will help NOT to the soap
in there eyes.
My Neo's are house dogs, I feed my dogs outside where they can
make as big of a mess as they want. I also provide a water bucket outside,
as well as inside. I wipe clean there mouths after eating / drinking outside
before they come into the house. I also wipe there mouths after they drink
inside, as to not let the skin stay moist for any long period of time.
This also helps with the smell of there mouth area, if it is kept clean.
