| Jack Bauer. Federal Agent, Counter Terrorism Unit. Lone defender of America against all foreign and domestic terrorists. When Jack is around, no terrorism plot is safe. This pretty much describes what 24 is about. 24 is by far the most exciting show on tv today. You never know what could happen next. When there is a terrorist attack, there is at least five more. When you think that they've caught the bad guy, there is always another one worse and more powerful behind the scene. When you think that one group is responsible for the attacks, another unrelated group is behind the scene pulling all the strings. Jack himself is equally unpredictable. You never know what he's going to do next, or to what extend he's willing to take things in order to achieve his objectives. No one, not even his co-workers, best friend, the US government, or even his family can get into his way, if he is determined to get through them to get to what he needs. Any method can be utilized to protect the American public. |

A spin-off of J.A.G., N.C.I.S. (Naval Criminal Investigative Services) is the criminal investigation arm of the US Navy. It's on Tuesday night at 8pm on CBS. Abby, the forensic tech on the show, ROCKS!

This quote describes the final conflict in season six. It all started after Buffy is brought back from the dead with a spell by Willow. Giles wasn't all too happy about Willow using such dark magic, but was glad to have his slayer back. He returned to England shortly after, because he thinks Buffy should grow up and not depend on him for everything. Things started to go down hill from there. Buffy didn't feel like she is really back, and began to have sex with Spike. Dawn developed a stealing problem, and stole from almost every stores in Sunnydale. Xander, engaged to Anya, changed his mind at the very last minute and left Anya at the alter. This completely broke Anya's heart, and she becomes a vengence demon again. Willow became more and more powerful as a witch, and Tara broke up with Willow because Willow was abusing her power. Willow then quitted magic, and things between Tara and Willow were getting better. While all these were happening, the evil trio, Warren, Jonathan, and Andrew, who were all high school classmates of Buffy, Xander, and Willow, began to execute their (lame) plan to take over Sunnydale. They are the most annoying bad guys to ever hit Sunnydale, and they were getting close to their goal, when Buffy put an end to their evil plan, and put Jonathan and Andrew in jail. Warren, never wanted to lose, shot Buffy, and accidentally killed Tara with a stray bullet.
This caused Willow to completely immerse herself in the darkest of all magic, and to go after Warren, Jonathan, and Andrew. The über-witch Willow hunted Warren down, tortured Warren with the bullet that hit Buffy, and completely skinned Warren at the end, and burned him into nothing. Buffy, Xander, and Anya, unable to stop the killing of Warren, tried to save Willow from killing more people, by protecting Jonathan and Andrew from the über-witch Willow. Buffy and Willow fought, and Buffy almost lost, until Giles returned to try to stop Willow with magic. He succeeded for a little while, and binded the über-witch Willow in a magic ring, but Willow broke free, and ended up taking all of Giles' rented power. With the most power no one on earth has ever possessed, Willow was "connected" to everything and everyone, and could feel the pain and suffering of everyone on earth. Unable to stop the dark magic inside her, the über-witch Willow decided to end all the suffering by ending the world. Buffy was trapped in a sink hole caused by Willow, Giles was hurted in the fight with Willow, and Xander was the only one left to stop Willow. He convinced Willow that he cares about her no matter how evil she becomes, and finally got to the speck of humanity left inside her. The world is saved, by Xander, and everything was back to normal, until the cliff hanger of the season, when we found out that Spike got his soul back. Can we live with two vampires with souls?

Season 6 saw the death of one of my favorite characters, Tara. She was killed by a stray bullet fired by Warren at Buffy. And for that, Warren deserved his death. In Angel, we also saw the death of Darla. She staked herself in order to save her baby, and that shows how good a person Darla could be with a soul. Only if Connor/Steven knows the sacrifices his parents made, and not seal Angel in a metal coffin and dump him into the ocean... Holtz's evil influences on Connor/Steven continues. My favorite characters on the show. BTVS has helped its previously unknown stars to become some of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood:
Angel, the very successful spin off from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, has earned its rights as a show by itself, but its life was cut short by the WB.
The "fang gang" is now running the show at Wolfram and Hart. New characters include Spike, Eve, and Dana. They have the usual big company issues, with a demon twist. Angel did his best to use W&H's resources to combat evil, and Harmony being Angel's secretary is quite hilarious. A whole episode was dedicated to Harmony and her role in the company. The biggest shocker of the season (and the saddest) was the death of Fred, after she was infected with a mystical virus, and her body was used by the ancient demon Illyria to resurrect itself. ( <---photo ) Illyria tried to destroy the world, and found out her kingdom has been destroyed, and she has no army to help her. After some of her superpower was drained to keep Illyria from self-destructing, she tried to learn the human's way, and helped Angel a little. Lindsey, from season 1 & 2, returned as the secret lover of Eve. Turned out Eve was helping Lindsey to get back at the senior partners and Angel, but they failed, and Eve was eventually forced to hand her powers to Hamilton (the new liaison), and Lindsey was imprisoned by the senior partners. Cordelia woke up from her coma, helped guided Angel back onto the correct path, and then she died at the end of the episode. That was the second saddest moment of the season.
In season two, the most exciting thing is the return of Darla, played by Julie Benz. She was killed by Angel on April 14, 1997, when episode seven of season one of Buffy the Vampire Slayer was aired. Now she's back, and it's interesting to see what she will do now, after returning from hell.

The best new series on standard cable. Raw, violent, ... aired on cable channel FX every Tuesday at 10pm.
The second season just started on January 7th.
Third Watch, an excellent police, firefighters, and paramedics drama, was cancelled by NBC at the end of the 2004-05 season. The show was one of the best dramas out there, a little dark at times, but that's the way I like them. It was replaced by a new Law and Order show, was was cancelled also.
New episodes are on NBC Monday at 9pm. Reruns are constantly shown on A&E weekdays at 11pm. Has been moved to Friday at 10pm.

Law And Order: Special Victim Unit & Law And Order: Criminal Intent
