You can find these in Ghost Houses. They float around and Mario can't kill them. Only if Mario is invincible can he get rid of them. Watch out and don't try and jump on them or Mario will be losing lives faster then you can say "Yoshi".
These appear in the early stages of Yoshi's Island. They are probably the toughest monsters that Mario will have to kill until the first castle. These little buggers follow Mario and are faster than he is. So watch out if Mario's not running the Monty Mole will come and catch you
Not an enemy to Mario. Very helpful for crossing big bodies of water. If Mario falls off of one he will have to catch another to continue on. These appear first in the Donut Plains area.To cross you may have to catch more then one because some don't go all the way.
These creatures are easy to kill. All you got to do is jump on them. Then once you have jumped on them pick them up and throw them. But if Mario doesn't pick them up fast enough they will come back to life. You can find them in the Vanilla Dome area.
Rexes are the second enemy that you find in the game. These dinosaurs are a mix between a t-rex and a pteradactol. They have wings but they can't fly. Mario will have to stomp on them twice to kill them. Watch out though, a lot of the time they move in packs.
In a castle Mario will have to be careful of the Thwomps. When in vision of Mario these stone blocks will drop from the ceiling and try and crush him. Mario should try and run under them when they are going back up into their crese. There is no way to get rid of them.
Wigglers are strange creatures. If Mario jumps on them then they will turn red and charge at him. If Mario stays away from them they will be friendly and not try to come at him. They can be found in The Forest of Illusions and after that through the game.
These fish like plants, that jump from pipes, can really take a bit out of Mario's lives if he's not careful. If you jump on a Piranha Plant's pipe it will not come out until you jump off.
Fire Power Mario can kill them but thats the only way. They appear all through the game.
Urchins are exactly what you think they are, Sea Urchins.
They move in a set pattern and are relatively slow. Thier sharp spines are pretty easy to avoid.
There is no way to kill them unless Mario is invincible. They appear in all under water levels.
Super Koopas are exactly like Koopa Troopas except that they either hop around and or they fly in the air. Instead of Mario having to jump on them two times he must jump on them three times. If Mario isn't careful where he walkes one might land on him. They can be found all through the game.
Koopa Troopas are still one of Mario's main enemies. If Mario jumps on them they will come out of their shell. If Mario does not jump on thier form not in the shell they will go back in it. If Mario kicks the shell and it hits a wall it will ricochted back, so watch out. Koopas appear every where during the game.
These fish are most likely sleeping when you see them. If Mario gets to close to them though they will wake and chase after him, so try and keep mario away from them. Only Fire Power Mario can kill them. They appear in most under water levels.
Charging Chucks are sports player that throw every kind of ball imaginable at Mario. Some bounce up and down so they can throw at different hights. They Usually hang around near the end but in some levels they are every where. Mario can find them all through out the game
Dino Rhinos have a nasty habbit of getting in Marios way because they are so big. If Mario stomps on one they will become smaller. They appear every where on Chocolate Island.
These are the smaller form of Dino Rhinos. They are a lot faster and shoot fire at Mario. they can also stand upside down and shoot fire. They appear everywhere on Chocolate Island.
