Culture: Nasreans vary in the different areas of Nasr. Since Nasrad is a rich city because it gets so many tourists, people are a bit more laid back there. Many own shops to work at and the pay is good. Maramba is not as exciting a place as Nasrad so it doesn't get as many tourists and therefore isn't very rich though it is isn't poor either. The people there are very hard working. It's a good place to raise a family but there aren't many attractions. Probably the largest attraction for tourists ever at Maramba was Bellena's dancing at the tavern. So some are very hard working and others at a life of ease. When the desert get too hot to walk on, there is a significant animal that they ride on only found in Nasr, called a Dhabu. If you've ever seen Star Wars Episode 5 in which the beginnning of the movie takes place in a arctic like place, the main characters ride on animals. Dhabus look a lot like those except they have skin rather than fur and are found in the hot desert areas. Younger ones are pink in color and as they mature they grow more purple. They are in a way like camels because they can carry things and people on their back and kangaroos because they walk on their hind feet and hold their front legs up the whole time directioned like one. They are ideal for cross-country traveling. Nasr, like the other continents, is ruled under a monarchy. The Nasrean King is called the Nasultan. It is said that the Nasultan has ice shipped to him from an unknown continent that nobody has found yet. Ice is a rare delicacy that only the Nasultan may have because he is the one who it is shipped to. His large palace is in the middle of the city of Nasrad and is surrounded by a moat. Nasr's military is also controlled by the king. Nasr had a war 20 years in the past with Valua. Because of this, security in Nasr has been tighter than it had been before the war. It is difficult to get in through to Nasr because of this. The military ships guard the South Dannel Straight, the way to Nasr. They don't guard the North Dannel Straight as it is guarded already by a powerful, circular sky rift. Even though Valua and Nasr are not the greatest of allies, they are still heavy trade partners. More trade goes to Nasrad than it does Maramba which explains why it is a richer place. It is a bit harder to get water in Nasr because of it's geographical condition. Most of the water comes from wells. Those who are lucky enough to find the wandering lake may find water there. People can also find water in the rare oasis' of Nasr which are lakes surrounded by grass, plants, and palm trees. There are some different foods people eat in Nasr too. Nasr's loqua is called Khale Relic Loqua in which the adds for it tell you that it makes you big and strong and makes you a real man. Kabal Skewers are very common there along with fish like Spiked Sunfish and other foods commonly found in the Mid-Ocean area.
