| Sonic Adventure 2 first came out on the Dreamcast, so as a result, a trial disc was made where one could play only the first level (no chao world). A while after the full game came out, that's when Sega went unfortunately bankrupt. Nintendo bought Sonic Adventure 2 from Sega and formatted it for the Gamecube while adding the 2 - Player Battle mode and the option to go to the Mini Chao Gardens by way of Gameboy Advance. Thus, the game title was changed to Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. |
