Notes
- Each player must be a different character or chao from the other to play a game.
- In the first 3 games, the first level of stages are small stages created for very quick games. The ones in level 2 and 3 our actually stages in the story. There are level 4 stages as well, but since they are the last level of the Hero and Dark stories, they must be unlocked.
- In the first 3 games, when choosing a stage, move the analog stick to the top and you should see an icon that says Battle Options. Press A to reveal a small list of options to use when playing such as time limits or number of games per stage.
-In the first 3 games, you may move the analog stick cursor to the level with will highlight all the stages within that level. Pressing A will select one of these stages at random.
Random
Selecting this will choose one of the following games at random, with random characters and stage.
Action Race
In this game, you race your opponent using from one of the four following characters: Amy Rose, Sonic, Shadow, or Metal Sonic. You may choose which stage to select. The goal of the game is to get to the goal ring before your opponent. You may also physically attack your opponent or use special moves.
Treasure Hunt
In this game, your goal is to find the chaos emerald piece before your opponent. Your radar will tell you if you are close to the piece with no color meaning far away, then green, yellow, and red means very close. If you see an exclamation point over your character's head, that means you are right next to it. You can use any of the following characters in this game: Knuckles, Rouge, Tikal, or Chaos Zero. You may also attack enemies physically in this game, as well as use super moves. When playing this game, I suggest setting a time limit because without one, I have known this game to go on forever.
Shooting Battle
In this game, you goal is to defeat your opponent. You can either be Dr. Eggman in the Egg Walker, Tails in the Cyclone, the Chao Walker, or the Dark Chao Walker. Use bullets and your laser cannon to defeat your enemy. Both of your health meters will be on the bottom of the screen. When one meter diplinishes, that character loses. To get more health, find rings and balloons. By getting rings, you may also use special moves in this game.
Chao Karate
The same rules of 1 Player Chao Karate apply. You can either use 2 chao from one memory card, or 1 chao each from 2 seperate memory cards to battle. Be careful, as there is only one cursor, so you and your opponent must take turns selecting which chao to use. You can only access this game after you have played Chao Karate for the first time in 1 Player mode. Go to my chao page to find out about the game rules of Chao Karate.
Chao Race
The same rules of 1 Player Chao Race apply. You can either use 2 chao from one memory card, or 1 chao each from 2 seperate memory cards to race. Be careful, as there is only one cursor, so you and your opponent must take turns selecting which chao to use. Kart Race
The same rules of 1 Player Kart Race apply. You and your opponent must choose which character to kart race with and which level. You can only access this game after beating Rouge's or Tails 1 Player Kart Race level in the story. For rules and how to play this game, visit my SA2 Kart Racing Page.
