| SA2 Enemy List G.U.N. and Other Robots Hovering Robots Hovering Robots: These robots just hover in the air, usually in your direct path. The only way they can hurt you is if you touch them without attacking. Hovering Robots with Guns: These robots do the same as the enemy above except that they fire at you as well. Sometimes they fly around too. Magnetic Hovering Robots: These robots do the same as the first type of hovering robot except that they charge small magnetic fields around themeselves for a small period of time. You can attack them in the few seconds that the shield is down. Bumper Hovering Robots: These are again the same as the others except that they can't hurt you and you can't hurt them. They have bumpers on top which you can spring upwards to wherever it leads you. Golden Hovering Robots: Actually more tanish, they appear for a very limited time and then disappear just like that. They have no means of attacking you. Regular Robots Regular Robots: These have legs and arms and can shoot you with the blaster on their arm. Hover-Sliding Robots: Look the same as the type above, with the same abilities, but the can also hover a practical inch off the ground and move with exceptional agility. Immobilized Robots: All robots are powered by Chaos Drives. These robots, found in Weapons Bed, are not powered and are curled up into their sleep mode...sorta. Anyway, they can't attack you so you can target many at once and fire to get "Perfect" bonuses of 2,000 if enough are fired upon from one time around of targeting. Robots with Blue Blasters: They are the same as the regular robot type except that the blaster they have does not hurt you but rather binds around you and breaks after about 3 seconds. Robots with Shields: They shoot you with regular blasters but have shields too. They move their shield out of the way when charging and firing, so you can attack them then. Sonic and Shadow can roll under the shield to attack this type of robot as an easier method. Large Robots Large Missle Robots: These are somewhat large types of robots that hover and fire the missles attached to their sides upon sight. When they spot you, they get the missles ready, and then fire, so they don't fire immediately, giving you some leeway time. In the beginning levels they only have 3 missles but in the harder levels near the end of the game they tend to have more. With Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, and Rouge, you can easily attack the middle section of them. With Dr. Eggman and Tails, you can target all of the missles and the main sections at once, firing at all before it fires at you, and giving you extra bonus points. When they fire the missles, they can't reload, so the only way they can hurt you after is if you run into them. Large Firing Robots: This type of robot is very similar to the type above except that it fires blasters at you rather than missles, meaning it can reload them. It hovers like the one above as well and can move while hovering. In the beginning levels they shoot two blasts at you at a time, but more as the game proceeds. Aircrafts: There are 2 types - smaller and larger. The small ones have the same colors as most other robots and tend to glide by you really quickly like a jet. They usually fire blasters at you. You can attack them if you are quick about it, with Tails or Dr. Eggman. The larger types are mostly gray and use rapid fire against you or sometimes drop bombs. In some levels you can see them gliding by or slowly lifting off like in Radical Highway, or see them parked and immoblized like in Weapons Bed. Strange Robots Green and Orange Robots: Only found in a few levels if not just 1. You can find them all over the place in the Dr. Eggman level: Cosmic Wall. They do not fire anything at you can always stay in one spot. Very easy yet mysterious robots. Land-Based Wheel Robots Silver Land Robots: This type of robot is strange in which it is like a grayish silver box. It looks a lot like something you'd see on those remote control battle shows. They cannot really be hurt, but you can push them off cliffs by rolling. Just make sure not to touch them regularly because they hurt you. They also charge at you upon sight. Spiked Robots: Just like the robot above except that they have more white and black on them and also have spikes on top. They can be attacked. Everything else between them and the Silver Land Robots are the same though. Tanks: These are tanks about the same size as the spiked robots. They just shoot detonating bombs out. Creatures Ghosts: There are three types of ghosts in the game. Some float around and attack you upon sight. They disappear when you attack them. The second type grab hold of you upon sight and let go after a small period of time. They can't be attacked but they do no harm to you, just might delay your time. The third type don't float around but rather appear quickly when you do something simple such as break a container. They do no damage, just startle your character and then disappear. Basic Blue Aliens: These things are ground based and attack you by shooting a laser at you from their head. Otherwise they hide their head. The head is the weak point so you need to attack it, but you can only do that when the head is showing. Non-Basic Blue Aliens: These are also ground based, but they sometimes stick to walls and/or ceilings. Their head is always showing, yet they fire two lasers rather than one. To top that off, the sometimes extract to extending arms like a squid or octupus to attack you, which can sometimes give you a very hard time. Obliterary conditions are the same. Floating Blue Aliens: Imagine the blue alien type above, except that its body is a large sphere and it can float. That's what floating blue aliens look like. They also sometimes fly by you as well. Obliterary conditions are the same. Splitting Blue Aliens: This has got to be by far the wierdest alien of the 4 different types. It looks just like the enemy above, but when it spots you, its whole blue body falls apart into little living, slow-sliding bombs. These bombs walk towards you with a slow pace, but I think there may be around possibly 40 or 50 of them. They detonate when they are close enough to you - making other bombs within its range detonate at the same time. You can easily use multiple homing attacks to defeat them without getting hurt. The head of the alien is still floating in the air. If you home attack this, all of the surrounding bombs will explode, without you getting hurt. Dr. Eggman's Badniks Yes, there are badniks in this game too, and like always, you need to save the animals that power these robots. As a plus, you can use these animals for you chao. Monkey Robots: Originals from Sonic Adventure, these silly orange-brown monkies throw detonating bombs at you. E-100 Series Robots: Robots that look a lot like E-102 "Gamma" from Sonic Adventure. I have a feeling that Eggman created lesser versions for basic maneuvors. They always stay in place but fire two blasters at a time with good accuracy and speed. They can sometimes get annoying.
