Yumi is a Japanese girl with a French address. She's rich in her oriental history, and isn't afraid to show it. She also has extensive martial arts training. She likes to play jokes on others - Sissi in particular - and is often easygoing, and in the presence of Ulrich.
In Lyoko, Yumi wields a metallic fan that becomes an energized disk of doom to XANA's monsters, doing 10 points of damage, then coming back to Yumi to be thrown again. It also has limited reflective abilities. Her Ability is Telekinesis - she can move certain things with her mind, usually boulders for cover. It only works until her mind is too strained to keep it going, in which case she'll need to recover to even move.
